Hey everyone! I've been around for a while but got off track. I've got ~100lbs to lose total to reach my ideal weight, 4lbs down as of to-day and a 9 day streak I'm unreasonably proud of. I've always been terrible at tracking daily, but I've got a week under my belt and I'm trying to keep it going. Feel free to add me if…

Hey guys, I know this is reviving an oldish topic, but I'm getting back on track too and could use some cosplay bros to motivate and keep me motivated. My goal weight would make me really awesome for Hanji too, so I'd be totally down for a Hanji fitness tag-team! I've been lucky in that all of my armour manages to keep me…

A friend of mine was in a slightly long distance relationship (90-120 minute drive) and had his SO come out to meet him, then snuck out in the middle of the night, loaded up the trunk with all of his SO's belongings that were at the house, said goodbye the next morning normally and then texted midway through the return…

Re-starting myself, 5'8.5" and 218.8lbs. Anyone feel free to add me!

Haaaaahahahaha I totally thought that too! I love (Family) Double Dare (2000). That said, my response was: 'livin the dream' Discuss?

I agree on the outside temperature part, but we get some really bitter cold air. How do you manage with that? It tears my throat/nose up once it gets ~40°F, I get hoarse and raw super-fast and can't bear to do it much more.

I love peanut butter more than I can properly express, and if you haven't seen them, Jif-To-Go cups are amazing ways to keep it under control (if it's control that is a problem). I generally pack one with lunch for spreading on an apple or rice cakes (mine are ~16 cal each) as a way to make sure I get what I want and don't…

So wow, I did not mean to come off as that one person and I am actually personally ashamed that I did anything to be labeled as such. I am NEVER that person and I feel amazingly crappy that I was to-day. I guess it's more that the last thread I was in had references to transwomen as being 'men dressed as women' and…
-
That is both not true and kind of offensive! Points for not being nasty about it, but the anti-trans message is still there. EDIT: When taking estrogen, a transwoman will naturally put on weight in the chest, hips, thighs and butt, same as any other woman. What slows the process is that most transwomen already have a…

I am variable to the max. It's more an individual thing than a 'type' thing. I like girls with a small chest/ribcage and wide hips, I like girls with long legs and slammin' curves. I like girls who are slim and athletic to the point of boyishness, i like girls who are softer and less extreme for that 50's pinup style. For…

I know exactly how you feel. You just have to -know- that there has been a change and stick with it. Look for any tiny thing, focus on that there IS a tiny thing and not that it's tiny. Are you getting around easier? Workouts getting easier? Are you feeling 'cleaner'? Less allergies? There's a lot of internal stuff going…

I've been there, done that. Kind of still doing that, but attempting to cut back as of late. Herbs that you'll want to pay attention to: Valerian (can be used in tea or supplement, strong, nasty aroma) Vervain (tea or supplement, very palatable) Chammomile (tea, good flavor) Lavender (tea or aroma therapy, mild and…

Actually, getting your name changed with the credit bureaus is a PITA if you need it to be 100% changed and have no references to the previous. You have to individually contact every creditor you have to get them to change it, then they will pass it along to the credit bureau. Once all of them have properly reported the…

It's not possessive of the name so much as the lineage. They're Italian and proud, it's hard to explain it any other way. The name itself is very unusual, and I'm fairly certain that our family is the only existence of it in our state. It's unusual enough that my mother and brother got 'collected' by a guy on Facebook who…

I said this in another thread and I think it bears repeating. When it comes to keeping the name 'for the children', you have to tread lightly. If they're really young, it might be better to swap names, especially if dad is not in their lives (for whatever reason). In my case, my mother kept my father's name so we would…

It's also very frustrating when you tell them your goal weight and they automatically respond 'oh, that's too low!' when they don't know how you will look at that weight, nor how you're planning to get there. I am 5'8.5" and have a goal weight of 150-160lbs (depending on muscle content, really). I regularly get that my…

I AM GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE! Girl Talk and Ludachrist both end up playing during my long treadmill sessions, and tempo-wise they keep good pace for my stride on distance runs.
-
A good run for me includes Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIgZ7gMze7A ) since it is a ridiculously peppy, upbeat song, and because it fits my stride for 5.5-6mph, which is a decent pace to hold onto for a casual run. Some other favs include: capsule - Catch My Breath -…

I'm actually going to be trying swapping weights on the fly during my next set so that my better exercises use more weight and the ones I struggle with stay with the lower (looking at you lunge-raises!). Hopefully that'll give it a more rounded experience overall.

THIS I definitely have some meals that I know are <400 calories and very filling that I will intentionally make extra of and bag for the next day. I started out writing the amount of calories on the bag, so then it became a mix-and-match game. After a while, it gets into your head and you can guesstimate as you do your…

I definitely find that planning ahead makes a huge difference. When I log as I eat, I have a tendency to get panicked at night with a couple hundred extra calories that I can't reasonably exercise off (in addition to my usual burn-off, that is). This morning, though, I put down my breakfast and lunch as I was making them,…

I feel the same way. I'm glad that after 3 days (6 total, if you count a mis-start last week) I'm starting to see physical changes, else I would think it's not enough for me. Even the first day I wasn't sore the next morning, and I do it just before bed at night. I suppose that you're just in better shape internally than…

24, 5'8.5", SW 223.5, GW 150, ~54lbs left to go If you don't mind dudes, I'm always game for motivating and being motivated!

Holy WOW. Those pics are amazing! I'm really surprised that there wasn't more fluctuation on the scale, cause the visual is 100% different! I think it's interesting (and please don't be offended!) that your chest seems smaller in the second set than the first, but that you only lost an inch. Are they just that much perkier…

Honestly, I know how you feel about this. Though I'm posting 15~20lbs lost, I don't see much of a difference at all. There are a very few articles of clothing that fit differently, and it's not a large amount. There is one pair of shorts that has gotten too big, however it was a bit looser to start with (since I couldn't…

This! Just do it, then eat a good meal to make up for it.

My fiancé is like this almost every day and I flirt with it occasionally. We usually just go for smoothies if we can't stomach 'real food' first thing, and while it's not a deal breaker to skip breakfast, one thing I HAVE found is that if I skip out on breakfast, I stay up too late. Your body feels as if it's just 'waking…
