I'm in!! I tried it once before, but had to a lot of traveling so it was hard to take with me. I'm starting my fitness/healthy routine tomorrow, Oct 1. Go ahead and add me as a friend and we will keep each other going!

Good Job!! I know when I ran my second 5K I too was excited to beat the previous. It's only going to get better.
-
I prefer the Bluefin! Hope you become addicted to running!
-
I log mine under general circut training. I'm not sure if that's correct, but I do mine after I run, so I don't work as hard on the cardio part.
-
I finished the C25K last fall, I never thought I could even run around the block. Now I'm addicted to running & will run my first Half in May!

Sent a request! Keep up the good work!

I have to agree, if they motivate you even more, KEEP THEM. I spent a $100 on a jacket for running outside - I still haven't gotten to wear it as it's still too cold here, but it's keeping me going cause I want to wear it!

Sorry, but scenic is not available in ND. Flooding is, but not scenic! :)

Right now I'm between "The Time" Black Eyed Peas and "Carry Out" Justin Timberlake. I just like the beats to get me started!
-
Thanks everyone!! I fun to have people care about your health & fitness.

I don't have any advice, but I'm in somewhat the same boat as you. For the past month I have been steady at my cw and I have been trying very hard to get under that, even drop 1 pound would make me happy. I've been working out 6 days a week and eating at my calorie goal. . I'll be interested to see what people have to say!…
-
Wow, that is more complicated that I thought for a 5K. :0 Good Luck!
-
I agree - go to a running store. I have bad feet and do a lot of running, it makes a huge difference. I love Brooks Ghost 3!

I would say your shoes are fitting right! It pays to spend some money on good shoes.
-
New Shoes, Rest and some PT. I learned the hard way. If you are like me, it may set you back on your training, but I am 100% now and am really glad I didn't push it!
-
I've been skipping a bit, but I did level 1 for one full week. After the 3rd day I felt alot better. Didn't dread getting out of bed in the am :) . I'm hoping it's going to help me tone up, as I'm training for a half marathon.
-
I have learned the hard way - rest! I know it may mess up your goal or training. As I train for a half marathon, I've learned that the most important thing is to listen to your body. It's telling you something for a reason. Hope you heal quickly!

Thats great! I know that swimming is a great workout!
-
It's a great program, I've done 2 5K's and will be running my first 10K in April. I'm using the Bridge to 10K app now. Good Luck!
-
There is a great app for ipod or iphone called Easy to 10K. It's great! I'll be running my first 10K in April! Good Luck.

I think we all have those days! Don't let it get you down, tomorrow is a different day!
-
Running outside is so much easier - you can focus more on getting somewhere. Find a car parked up a head, a building, something to focus on to get you further and further. I do feel it's a little harder to be outside, so don't be disappointed on your distance.

How's everyone coming? Day 2 down!!
-
Good Job! Keep up the good work.

Congratulations! Keep up the good work!
