Sad.

Of course, it's called tempo runs. Because YOU CANT sprint at a high intensity every day. The body can't withstand that lol. You are also taking the longest end of the "sprinter" spectrum, a 400m runner... 100m sprinters aka the leanest and most muscular ones, rarely cover more than 2000m TOTAL IN EVEN A MEDIUM INTENSITY…

Wow. OP was asking about AESTHETICS. LOOKS. APPEARANCE. Clearly there are some very sensitive people here... But how can you get mad at reality? lol For any marathoners I offended, I'm sorry. Wasn't my intention.
-
Admittedly, you're right I totally shouldn't have worded it as rude as I did. Wasn't expecting to offend anyone personally. Was just giving my opinion.

13,500 posts in a little over a year. Holy moly. How??? I should have known better. I bet you argue a lot on here. I'm done lol. Have already spent way too much time wasting my breath lol.

Of course they don't run for looks lol wow. But their goal is irrelevant to this convo. We are discussing body composition and the effect long distance running has on it. It's not me being harsh. It's science. Sorry if I offended you all so much lol. Seriously, google pictures of marathoners vs sprinters. This is not…

Wasn't trying to put anyone down. I'm saying at the extreme end of the spectrum, the pro marathoners... Are NOT pleasant to look at. Not saying anyone here or that runs a lot looks gross!!! But thats the road it brings you down. In contrast the average sprinter looks amazing. And I'm pretty sure I know what skinny fat…

Green tea is good stuff from what I've read. I use it. I just take green tea extract pills, much easier lol.

You can do this! I'm gonna send you a friend request. I'm rooting for you! As long as you stay here and keep at it, I'll try to help and encourage you. And I know tons of others on here will do the same. I give you props already for having the courage to begin. I hope you stick with it!!! The time for change is now. If you…

Absolutely awesome dude!!! Good job.

Diet for sure... And it's not even close.

Long distance running is absolutely awful for body compositions. Especially THAT long. Diet, lift, and SPRINT. You will be incredibly lean in no time.
-
#1 - Get diet in check. #2 - Lift weights. #3 - Cardio. Preferably sprints, not long distance. Good luck!

The absolute most important tips I can give you are as follows: 1 - EAT HEALTHY BEFORE YOU ARE HUNGRY. If you wait until you're very hungry, you will crave bad foods and surely binge. 2 - High protein. Protein keeps you fuller longer, uses more calories to digest, preserves muscle mass, and also causes positive hormonal…

Doesn't matter, the cacao is ruined when it's heated and made into chocolate. Don't think for a minute that you're doing your body any good by downing a sugary chocolate bar. No matter how dark. Raw cacao powder if you want the health benefits.

I've dealt with the same thing. Also family can be the same way. It's not because they don't WANT what's best for you, but that they don't KNOW any better. They are uninformed and don't realize what healthy really is. But also, honestly with a lot of people, it's jealousy. People DESPISE you for doing things that they…

No. Heavy lifting will HELP you lose fat. And keep you from losing muscle. If you lose 10 pounds of fat but also lose 10 pounds or muscle in the process, you are going to look the same. And that will be extremely frustrating lol. Holding on to lean mass is just as important as the fat loss. Body composition is way more…

You must be eating more than you think.
-
Listen when I tell you, you've got it completely mixed up. First off the default protein goal is EXTREMELY too low. Aim for a gram per pound of body weight, minimum. You can manually change your macronutrient goals in your settings on website. DO NOT TRY TO EAT LESS PROTEIN!!! Eat more. Protein keeps you fuller, for…

Not accurate in the least bit. Even calipers are WAY more accurate. I'd try to return the scale.

Real peanut butter taste without all the oil calories. I get plenty of healthy fats from BETTER sources than peanuts. Aka fish oil, flax seeds, ect. Hard to fit much real peanut butter in while cutting. But I crave the TASTE. But thanks for your opinion. Lol

Look up PB2. Stuff is amazing. 45 calories per 2 tbsp serving, 40% protein.
