Weight loss is listed as a common side effect of Tamoxifen.

They are currently only doing the experiments with what they believe is the more difficult types of grains of rice, they are guessing they can get better results with different grains.

You may add me if you like, I am also recovering? But I haven't started treatment yet so everything is still pretty messed up calorie wise. I'll let you decide if you want to be friends, I know seeing someone else struggling while you are trying to get better can be triggering.

Wow, where do you teach? My mother is a primary school teacher and works 8am-5:30pm all weekdays and half a day each weekend and that's just normally. When things ramp up and she has reports and lots of testing to do she brings work home and works after dinner until 10pm. Mind you she still goes to the gym at 6am 5 days a…

When I first started to lose weight I found it really hard to eat the 1200 that mfp recommended, so I ate 1000 odd. Do what feels right to you and works for you I guess. Some people just don't eat a lot, especially if you are sedentary most of the time.

It is kind of beneficial for people with eating disorders to be friends with non eating disordered people, Especially if they are attempting to recover. I find it really difficult to know how to eat normally, seeing other peoples diaries can be a huge help for meal planning and the like.

When I first started I would have the odd treat but as I've gone on those foods have just become unappetizing. Why would you want a whole day dedicated to unhealthiness anyway, it will only set your weight loss back and take longer to reach your goals.

I hate Mexican, too much tortilla, cheese, and corn chips for me.

Why are you going to McDonalds for coffee when you know you can't resist their food? Get up 10mins earlier and make one at home. You can put it in a travel mug and drink it on the way to wherever you are going if you have to. Or just stop at a normal coffee shop, you'll get a decent coffee that way too.

Not sure about groups on here, MFP doesn't like us very much and tends to restrict accounts if they aren't happy with what you are posting/logging etc. Despite the name MyProAna is okay, there are some older people on there and they are very upset by wannabes and distribution of tips and tricks. Lots of the people I am…

Both. Both is good. Cardio will help create a calorie deficit and burn fat while weights will help give you better shape (the toned, fit person look). Weights also build muscle which requires more energy to maintain than fat, so you'll burn more calories simply sitting on your butt. Diet is really important, if you can get…

http://www.buzzfeed.com/deenashanker/delicious-slow-cooker-recipes-with-no-meat ^ these are all vegetarian but most are pretty good, you could easily add meat.

I'm sorry but $95 is not a huge amount to spend on a race, nor is it selfish of you to take part in your interests during the weekends just as he does with his. Financial support does not equal emotional support and if I were you I would be seriously considering leaving him, because this sort of childish, guilt tripping…

Yeah, quite sick at the moment (anorexia binge purge subtype) and issues with doctors being dickbags and me being stupid mean I'm not "recovering". I want to, but it just isn't happening right now.

By the time you reach your goals you may find that 1380 is plenty of calories for your new lifestyle, don't be discouraged by it. As you do more exercise and get fitter you'll find it easier to burn more too.

$10,000 to be much happier with your body for the rest of your life? Go for it.

To someone with serious depression that is not helpful at all.

I've been here for years but only this year did I use the online resource rather than the mobile app (no free wifi in Uni dorms). To be honest I was shocked with how nasty parts of the community on here are and try to keep away from it as much as possible, I only come on when something interesting pops up on my news feed…

I work as a cleaner, if I'm doing it for six hours a day, four days a week I'm going to log it. In response to the OP, I log vacuuming, wiping mirrors, cleaning toilets and showers, and wiping down machines as light cleaning. Heavy cleaning is scrubbing out the sauna, washing the windows, and scrubbing the bathroom mats. I…

I know people with serious eating issues who only eat 800 and they don't do half as much exercise as you plan. Drinking green tea and all that crap doesn't 'rev up' your metabolism, your metabolism is a set thing, starving yourself, and self induced vomiting are two things I know from experience that slow it down. What you…

Try pre logging and pre preparing your meals, it helps if you struggle with overeating earlier in the day.

Ewww, make-up at the gym??? All I can think about is the gunk filtering into your sweaty pores and waking up covered in pimples.

Okay, I don't know why no one said anything, or if this is even abnormal but along with more health checks and 99% accurate logging of food I would be sorting out my eating/sleeping schedule. You get up at 9:30 right? Get up, drink a glass of water, have a nice big, healthy breakfast (for example a bowl of oatmeal with…

Avocado, banana, quinoa, nut butters (or just nuts in general), mangoes, granola (obviously not the stuff packed with sugar), corn, and salmon. To name a few things you could add into your diet as snacks or parts of a meal which are not inherently unhealthy. If I were you I would switch out the lower calorie items in your…
