WOW, the light headed, dizzy, headache, mental foggy feeling I have gotten during and after exercise. That was even when I was on higher than the changes I am making by lowering my calories..Hmmm, does that need we need more food when we get that way?
-
yes I do the same! I always wear my hrm when exercising.
-
that is how I get during and after exercise..that means I need to eat correct?
-
Ok great! Thanks..Wasn't for sure if lightly active meant with exercise being lightly active per Mfp.
-
Same here-I want those bad foods & when I have a higher calorie goal it allows me to fit all that stuff in which to me is nooo good!

Has taken more over a year and 2 mnths to get it off and I don't lose steady and never have..Just here and there and I am just trying to find what calories my body needs. I dnt workout hardcore and am 192.5 lbs still at 4ft 10 so I really feel I need less calories especially since I dnt burn like 500 or more calories per…

This is accurate. Gives me very close to the same amounts as the TDEE Scooby Calculator does.

Make sure you put in your exercise accurately, also make sure you use the 20% deficit for weight loss & what I have been told are the best macros are 40 carbs, 30 protein & 30 fat and go from what those #'s tell you. If you need help message me & I'll help you. Since on this Tdee method you add your exercise into the…

32 lbs more to get too my GW of 160 and 42 lbs to get to my UGW which will put me at 150 lbs and even then at my height of only 4'10-150 lbs will prob still be too big for my frame but I do understand what you mean

Thanks for your reply. I do exercise maybe 4 times a week for about 30-40 min each time so I selected the 1-3 hrs weekly on scooby website. I dnt workout hardcore so that was something else that worried me when choosing the tdee method. I wanted to make sure it wasn't telling me to eat too much because I dnt exercise…

Why?

I have been on this journey a little over a year now & thanks :) but no, my bmr is 1592 and tdee-25% at my age, height, weight and exercise level is 1643 so I rounded it up to 1650 for the -25%...20% allows me 1753 but i dnt want to eat that much
-
TDEE goes by the hours that you workout per week when using the scooby calculator instead of the intensity level and that is something that worries me..I workout 3-5 times a week for about 30-40 min each time and may burn 180-250 calories. that adds up to about 2 hrs a week or a little over so I chose the category of 1-3…

I too am going through the same thing where the scale hardly ever goes down but my clothes are getting looser and I can see that I am shrinking. I am more of a cardio girl but still the scale just doesn't move for wks at a time.
-
Same here as we have discussed.

I agree 100% because I think that one day allowed cheating can mess up a whole week worth of hard work. I am a witness!

If I don't know the accurate amount of calories I need to succeed at this journey then I won't know what my deficit is..Once I get that right then everything else should fall into place I am thinking. I appreciate your reply and suggestions.

This is my 1st time calorie counting so I am learning...I just want to be succesful. quote] It sounds like you need to examine your relationship with food. Fear of food is not healthy, especially taken to the degree that you will voluntarily restrict your total intake to avoid the temptation of foods you have arbitrarily…

Thanks for this as well..It is soo hard when it stays the same or doesn't move for wks or a month. Glad you understand :)
-
Thanks for this! This helped me alot..I needed to read all this :)

Just like everyone had to and has to find that right # for them, so do I...I jst feel 1700 cal for a woman 4 ft 10 is alot but I am going to stick to this for 4-6 wks to see how it goes.
-
I am pretty sure it isn't healthy because it does stress me to the max and that is why I am on here asking for advice..I have switched my calories sooo much to try and figure out what the good # is for me so it is not really just a 200 calorie jump..I was even at 1300 calories a day at one point.
-
So, are you saying to lose you had to eat pretty healthy most of the time?
-
Thanks again :)
