Once your iron levels are back up, you will notice a huge difference working out. I am anemic and after two weeks of iron supplements, my running speed was back to my normal pace. I had been struggling with my training and thought I was way out of shape, but it turned out to be my iron levels.

Nov 7 Me-3 The Binge 4 Yesterday was a bad day. I ate a whole bag of chips in the evening. :(

Nov 6 Me- 3 Binge-3 I ate a whole container of 9% fat greek yogurt. I eat yogurt like I used to eat ice cream. I can't resist dairy products. I think I should only buy single size servings. At least I broke even calorie wise, but that isn't going to help me lose weight.

You could run a couple times this week, say 5K or less. I would not run two days before the race to let my legs be fresh for race day. I don't think there's anything you can do to get ready for a race in one week. Just enjoy the experience and do your best!
