I get mad when at the end of the day it tells me "if every day were like today, you'd be ______ in 5 weeks". Now that is bogus. It's been 8 and I'm still not at the weight from the 1st (5 weeks) day I logged my food...don't let it get you down. A computer generated message should not have control of your emotions.

OMG! DITTO! Except this is my niece not my sister in law. I agree with 100% of what you said. I was going to stick it out to help my niece, since I am losing. But the fear of trying to eat everything that's not nailed down scares me. I am a kind of compulsive person to begin with. I did just place an order for another 4…

Haha, I've done that with brown sugar. Could not find anything sweet in the house. It actually wasn't too bad. lol

bump...I have no advice, as I'm in the same boat with calories...but want to follow this thread.

I know you are right! I just feel really sad that my own niece is giving me a sales pitch. I know she truly believes in what she is selling, but I feel bad that she wasn't honest with me up front. When I told her I wanted to try the shakes, she set me up as one of her "associates", which until it was said and done, I…

thanks everyone...my niece sells it, and has my whole family on it. I feel like every question I ask her has a "canned" response. They are all on board and trying to sell now too. The group that she is in, has a fb page, but when you ask questions that aren't necessarily positive or they can't spin it that way, they delete…

add me to the list! my goal is to lose 100.

A few years ago, I told some co-workers I was going to be out for 6-8 weeks because I was having surgery. One looked at me and said "you are having gastric bypass?" Nope, that wasn't it. Seeing pictures of myself makes me sick! If I see someone tagged me on FB in a non approved by me pic, I untag myself and ask them to…

I am using Isalean by Isagenix. It's great. All whey protein. No soy. Low sugar.

Has anyone baked with Coconut Sugar. I bought some, and thought I'd try it in my baking. Not sure if it's equal amounts either. Like 1C. sugar ='s 1 C. Coconut Sugar?

just joined this group today. Those people are called trolls and have nothing better to do with their time then to try to upset/argue with people. Many of the boards on MFP are just horrible anyway. I avoid them like the plague. So superficial and in many cases just plain dirty. They say any attention is better than no…

If I had to have my "space" from my husband, I would not be married to him. Part of why I married him is to share everything with him. No secrets. If I had something to hide, I'd probably be abstaining from any social media, and be in marriage counseling instead.

Yes, I do that too. Last night I was upset with my kids about something, and instead of removing myself to pray, I ate....and ate....and ate. Sadly. Funny that just this morning I was thinking to myself that I need to depend on God to get me through this becuase I cannot do this on my own. I need my Savior to rescue me. My…

good idea to make a portion for him. It would be selfish to keep healthy stuff from your kid, and then let him eat junk like a pudding cup or whatever. And yes, my kids are more important than any chocolate too.

Would you bail if your partner had cancer? Or some other sickness or illness? I don't know if you are married or not, but I am, and I married my man in sickness and in health, for better or worse, til death do us part. That encompases all the wonderful parts of our marriage, and the less than stellar parts of our marriage.…

This is some sage advice. It's not about how he feels, it's about how he makes you feel. I've been thin and fat with my husband of almost 18 years, and every day he calls me beautiful, hugs me and treats me no different at any weight. Would he like me to be thinner? I'm sure he would. I would like to be thinner too. But he…

How many calories are generally in a point? I am struggling really bad right now. On WW I was eating 40 pts. (yes, now you know how much I weigh) lol. Anyway, I was losing at a good clip. When I followed the program. I have many friends who were having success w/MFP, so I quit WW and joined here. But, here I have a limit…

So I've noticed people saying they are "fishy" ? Is there fish in the noodles? I am allergic to fish/seafood and am not familiar with this type of protein. I'd love to try it, but am hesitant.
