I have been having the same problem. After speaking with a few smart fellows on MFP, we have upped my calories. I was also eating only 1200 calories, exercising 7 days a week. I lost quite a bit the past 2 months since I started MFP BUT it has slowed and then STOPPED completely..then started gaining! I just upped my…

LOVE this! ^^^ So true! :)

I have actually been wondering the same thing. I have always been told "The more you drink, the more you shrink", but it seems like every time I up my water intake to say 13-15 cups per day (yes, I know above the recommended daily intake) the scale shows a GAIN for a few days..any ideas anyone else?

No HRM is ever going to be exact. I always go with what my HRM says though. The HRM is set up to your height, weight, age, to YOUR body...the machines only have sensors. And, say for instance, the elliptical always says I burn MORE than my HRM while the treadmill always says I burn less. We will never know 100% sure what…

I'm not in the Army but my husband is and since we were married before he enlisted, I can tell you what he did and what he worked on before he left. RUN! Especially in basic, RUN RUN RUN is what you'll do. I would once again work on running (lol) but I would also try to work on your sit-ups & push-ups since those are…

I let myself have 1-2 cheat meals per week. Usually on the weekends. :) This way your body keeps guessing & doesn't get so used to eating a certain number of calories each day. I like to think of it as a "reset" for my body.

I'm not sure which is the "right" way, but I agree that it's your own personal preference. I weigh myself every single morning after I wake up (go potty) and I weigh myself completely naked. But, I have my "official weigh in day" once a week and whatever that weight is (mine is on Thursday's) that's what I input into MFP…

Hi there! My husband hasn't left again yet but he has been deployed before and is leaving quite soon. When he was deployed last time (12 month deployment) I lost 70 lbs. You can totally lose a lot of weigh in 6 months time. It only took me about 8 months to lose the 70! You can add me as a friend if you would like!! :)

In my opinion, not really. I can go miles & miles on the bike on a pretty decent resistance and burn barely any calories. But when I get on the treadmill & run for 40-60 minutes, it may be less miles but it's a MUCH MUCH better workout. I also have bad shins and a bad knee from years of dancing/cheerleading but I just suck…

My Timex HRM monitor seems to be fairly correct. It always is less than what the machines are showing. It is higher than what MFP calculates BUT MFP cannot factor in your heart rate, age, height, weight, etc. I love my Timex and it seems fairly accurate. But, as some other person posted, no HRM is going to be 100%…

I love my Under Armour sports bra. I'm not sure what the "design" is called but it zips between the boobs & it crosses in the back between the shoulders. I absolutely love it because it stays TIGHT (no bouncing) and it doesn't dig into the tops of my shoulders.

Between Zumba & eating healthy, I lost 70 lbs from Jan - August. Doing it 3-4x a week for 60 minutes. Now, I'm an Instructor! :) Zumba is GREAT and everyone in my classes loses inches at least (without watching what they eat) and both if they are. :) Good luck!

I have the SAME issues...I eat a Fiber One Peanut Butter brownie! Only 90 calories. :)

I'm not a HUGE marathon runner but I do run at least 4 miles everyday. I NEVER drink chocolate milk after a run...never have. I'm still alive, kickin & able to run just fine everyday. :) Not sure if this answers your question, but this is just what I do and it seems to work.

Zumba is great! Zumba helped me lose 70 lbs & I've been an Instructor now for almost 2 years. It's so much fun & doesn't feel like you're really working out! :)

I have been blonde my whole life..and platinum mostly. I would never try to do my own hair at home. Blonde is something that is very easily messed up, you can turn gold, gray, white, orange...the list of mishaps can go on & on. It does get expensive but the salon products are so much better for your hair AND you know it's…

Well, I have been doing this since Jan 26th and I've lost 12 lbs (as of Thursday). If you are eating healthy, changing your habits, exercising, etc, you should see some change! They say "healthy" weight loss is 1-2 lbs a week. Everyone's body is different.

I'm a 5'6, 24 years old and I stick to my 1200 calories per day. But, I am also one of those people who do not eat back my exercise calories. :) Since we are close in age/height, feel free to add me for support/questions! :)

I have always been told that your body needs at least 1 rest day a week. However, I don't follow that. I'm slightly addicted to working out & just being in the gym sweating in general, SO, I never take a day off. At least, I haven't taken a day off in about 3 weeks. I will however, not push myself as hard 1-2 days a week.

I just posted something about this on my "wall". I am wondering the same thing! I NEVER cheat, work out everyday BUT for some reason, today I feel like letting loose! I already worked out..but I just kind of want to eat whatever I want for ONCE and not count everything that goes into my mouth. Interested to see what…

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Weight Watchers. I honesty think it's one of the easiest & best programs out there! I lost 70 pounds from Jan - August 2010 from WW! It's GREAT!

I have a Timex and love it. It is almost always accurate to MFP. It sometimes it lower than what the elliptical will show & higher than what the treadmill will say. I think it's as close as you're going to get to know for sure...which is never going to be possible with a HRM only.

As far as I know you can't get your BC from post. You have to go through the state and order a replacement with an "official" stamp, which you have to have to apply for your passport. But, you can always have your passport expedited to get it faster.

I like good ol Muscle Milk Light..only 100 calories & tastes great!

PB2 all the way!!!

Aww thank you so much! <3 So sweet of you!!

I hardly ever wear underwear when working out. The only time I will wear them is if I'm wearing shorts without spandex underneath. :)
-
My husband & son eat it like it's nothing different from regular peanut butter, and I just add water.

I have never tried the chocolate, but it sounds amazing! I personally use PB2 in everything I would use regular PB in. I put it on my kids PB&J, or with bananas, everything! I just do as the directions say & it's just amazing! :)
