  • For the most part yes, but this week I did have some 85% chocoolate. Until then I'd been "clean" for 6 week I think. I gave up sugar as part of my transition to paleo. There is a good article on the same site - how to go primal without trying too hard.
  • Great article here http://www.stumptuous.com/how-to-dump-sugar Good luck, it will be wonderful to be free.
  • Maybe he didn't want to help all that much. Reading his food diary I wouldn't be hanging on his nutritional advice anyway...
  • I have just started week 2 (I'm doing one step a week) of this http://www.stumptuous.com/how-to-go-primal-without-really-trying
  • One of the best things about losing weight is getting rid of all the goddam control pants! You look beautiful in your LRD!
  • BUM. Up 1lb to 127.2 BUT I did have my period BUT I also ate more chocolate than I usually do :( So I can't blame water retention, more like Lindt retention :D And I have 3 big meals out between now & next weigh-in!!
  • Welcome on board deerwedding & pots :) See yis weds!
  • Ah hard luck Marie, but I posted a topic in community here about the scales not always telling full story (beware - underwear pics of me, might be too much for you :D ) As long as you're getting smaller that's the main thing.
  • Woohoooooo I'm DOWN, I haven't been down in months! 126.8>126.2 Another 3 ounces and I'll be 8stone something!!! Would be awesome to reach this ultimate goal before Christmas.
  • If you are training hard you *will* see changes, even if they aren't on the scale, and as the guys on Fat2Ftit radio say you don't goa round with your body weight tatooed on your forehead.

  • I have a polar running watch that I robbed off dh. How about this one? 65e http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/9259120/Trail/searchtext%3EPOLAR.htm You'd have to google and make sure it comes with a chest strap, the finger pulse ones are no good. I love mine and hate when I forget it!

  • Oh I just had that - with jam, so not much good to you :) I alsoo like a banana split length, with pb along it, then sandwiched back together & cut in slices. Or sliced apple with pb or mature cheddar or 25g nuts
  • I started the 30 day shred mega thread on mm :) not so much anymore but I did a great weight training DVD programme over the summer called Chalean Extreme, as I couldn't get to gym. Recently during the mid term instead of doing a DVD I did workouts on the Nike training club app I have a pilates DVD my teacher gave me,…
  • Yes that is the downside of the class membership, very cardio biased. When I am back to regular gym use it will be more weights. I used to do both Pilates and Zumba classes outside the gym but trying to cut back on expenses. I have planned to do pilates on Friday at Rock though.
  • Yeah I was surprised, where's the atttacking huh?? maybe the attack was on our own bodies with all those jumping jacks, and by god this instructor loves his push-ups! Last time I did aerobics was in the YMCA in Aungier St mid 90's :)
  • Next race for me will the the Jingle Bells 5k in Phoenix Park. http://donoreharriers.com/home_nav_9.html

  • Well done everyone, love seeinga ll the positive changes! Here's mine. Weighed in this morning at 127.6
  • Thanks, this is a great rescource!
  • It actually *is* in the healthy bmi range. People carry their weight so differently - I'm 5'3 and 128 pounds but no one would describe me as skinny. 125 is my ultimate goal, was 161 when I started my journey. best of luck in your marathon training - when & where?

  • Great post Joseph, and well done on some decent losses! no 127's :( sts this week. • Hi Erica. Have look at ww.fat2fitradio.com and look/listen at the how to get out of a plateau soundbite. Hopefully somethingt here will help. I still am uncertain whether I'm doing it right, but basically I am never eating less than 1350 and up to 1585. But I am not eating back exercise cals (for the most part). Sometimes…
  • Thanks guys!
  • I was taught to squat "ATG" = *kitten* to grass, so below parallel, you've just got the take the mental leap of faith and drop down that bit more. Lol, tried to find a good demo video - found this!…
