My next mini goal is to hit 10kg lost... I am about 1.5kg away from that (10kg is 22pounds, need to loose 3.3lbs more)

Ah, my calories get added by RunKeeper, but Ill work something out.
-
Wait, I just figured out how haha

I am active, and would add you, but I haven't figured out how...

You get 1800? I am an inch taller than you and get 1200 :(

I made a similar mistake twice of the weekend.. Bad Idea #1. Climb a mountain (its a walking path that rises 300 metres over a 2 km) with 4 kids under 10.... The 3yo wanted to be picked up by the time we had gone up 10 steps... So I carried her up about 200 metres . And then carried her back down again. (no, we didnt make…

Are you talking about a recipe? If so, you get to set how many people are going to share the dish, then you list all the ingredients and it works out the serves for you... The word "serve" is so loose on packaging, I recommend using grams whenever you can.

Personally I find that eating back 100% of those calories makes me stop loosing weight. Not sure if my logging isnt accurate enough or what... So I am trying to only eat back 30% of the "earned" calories.

Dont shop while you are hungry.

Even doctors and scientists (like you) still regularly say it turns into energy.... everyone says it turns into energy... that implies that we have all this energy that we can access... but the reality is that in the lack of fuel, the body burns muscle, not fat (I am massively over-simplifying) but you know what I mean

On fridays, I eat less than 800 calories throughout the day so I can drink a bottle of wine...
-
My 3 year old daughter drew a picture of my family.... One stick figure for mum, one stick figure each for my 4 children and a circle with fingers and feet for me...
-
My wife has, she has lost weight during every pregnancy (pre-conception to post birth)... You can absolutely do this. Good luck.

Fat doesnt turn into energy... it turns into carbon dioxide.....

Feel free to add me.

Its ok to "cheat"... Have a bunch of those "lite and easy" "lean cuisine" etc meals ready to go.... I have a bunch in the freezer, because I have a busy life and I dont always have time to work out how many calories are in a particular food or spend time cooking myself a meal (when I have just cooked a meal for my…

I am also kicking butt, feeling better than I have in a long time.... long way to go... but the chart is on a downward trajectory... I have stopped feeling hungry (I only felt hungry while I was stuffing my face with high calorie foods) and I have given up a lot of my bad drinking habbits... Feeling goood.

I tried dieting and alcohol together, but I got stuck in a plateau and I knew that I had to give it up if I wanted to loose weight... I was drinking about 3/4 to 1 bottle of wine a day... so now I have 700 additional calories to eat every day... what a huge difference. I havent gone cold turkey, I still drink on weekends,…

I have seen quite a few people post almost exactly the same thing.

Go to food, diary, add food, click on the barcode icon top right

not true in my case...

someone told me she was going on "The" gluten free diet... to loose weight (??!?). I asked if she was gluten intollerant, and she wasn't.

Harsh truth? Stop doing so many things for others... You need to cut back... My partner is a bit like you... if she had 20 hours of free time each week she would spend 21 of them doing things for other people... Just stop it, wind it back a bit, set yourself a budget for "doing things for others" and stick to it.

Spinach, Mushrooms, Pumpkin, Pasta, Potatoe, Cabbage, Lettuce, eggs, lean meat... you get the drift... All non chewy too (depends on how you cook the meat).. Like previous posters have said, dont be overly concerned with whether or not things have fat and sugar in them... some fat and some sugar are completely normal, and…

Good work. You are absolutely right about that out of control feeling... I knew I had to do something when I ate half a jar of peanut butter with a spoon... and I KNEW I wasnt hungry... in fact I felt pretty full... afterwards I sat down and had a good think about things.

Make your own pizza, get some Pita bread and some healthy ingredients... Yum... Pumpkin with some fetta, some Parmesan sprinkled on top with some herbs, then throw on some fresh rocket (known as arugola in the states I think) and bam, healthy fresh pizza... for under 400 calories... Use tomato paste and/or yoghurt as the…
