Lifting heavy will make you burn more calories throughout the day so you can lose weight easier. You wont bulk but you will get smaller. I am wearing smaller clothes than I was last time I weighed less than I do now. I love what lifting has done for my body.

I think squats and lunges are the path to perky. I'm going for perky. If you want it flat don't continue to build muscles there :)

My belly stuck out a lot when I first started I have some comparison pics in my profile. My abs get a workout from batting practice. Weightloss was probably the main factor though of course.

I guess just watch it throughout the day when you plan your meals. I have this problem and occasionally have over 100 or 120 grams :( but my calories are higher. So its not an insane amount. You could look at other people's food diaries to get ideas.

I like sports and weightlifting. I don't like cardio for the sake of cardio alone (like on a machine) but when I was doing it I felt really good after! So even that wasn't horrible :)

Ive been putting on muscle for the first time (purposefully) in my life this year and ive never had smaller thighs. I mean...since ive been an adult lol. Seriously the muscle is what you want. We had them at my job and drano did the trick! It was trapped sugar from sugar scrub soap!

Do you happen to enjoy sports? I get a good ab workout from batting practice. And yes weight training does wonders.
