Snap! I'm in exactly the same position. I'm pretty sure it's doable though... well, I hope anyway!

Hi, I just came back here last week after a 3 months absence also, and have about 10 lbs to lose as well, so I know how you feel. Come on, WE CAN DO IT!!

Cool and misty IRELAND! Am I the only one here?

my calendar age: 44 Real age: 37 Apparently I too need a dog... do you think these guys are really advertising dogs?

Oh I know how well how you feel! I'm 44 and, like yourself, am about 10lbs over my ideal weight. It just seems to have crept on since I turned 40! I'm finding it almost impossible to shift, I do walk quite a bit, but not enough apparently! Good luck with it anyhow

I feel your pain! A full month and I haven't lost an ounce...so frustrated after stepping on the scales after a full month to see no change in my weight, do remember that from day to day your weight can fluctuate a lot... also as someone else mentioned, muscle is heavier than fat so that might be the reason. Don't get…

Yeah, I have recently purchased a cross trainer (elliptical) Haven't had much time to try it as I have been doing a LOT of walking recently. I do quite a bit of hill walking/hiking...

This is pretty much why I joined here! Never had any problems losing a few pounds in the past, I'm now 43 with about 14lb to lose, been dieting and exercising for a full month now with NO results, so frustrated. I didn't weigh myself for that entire month until this morning, I could cry

Hi everyone, just joined this site, don't have a huge amount of weight to lose, about 14 lbs, been trying to shift it for about a month now to no avail, must be that old middle age spread I reckon!!! Any advice much appreciated...
