It's been said, but you really do look like a different person

Only 10 months! Wow
-
I think that means you're doing it right...

For every few pounds you lose, another problem that you didn't even realize you had will disappear. You'll start sleeping better, feelling better, and hurting less. All of which make it easier to go even farther into being healthy... as long as you don't get complacent on the way there. Keep up the great work!

It'll probably happen again. There's always an excuse to stop that good habits you've picked up. Getting sick for a few days is a really good way to take a week or two off. The key is not being satisfied unless your weight shows up at that target weight every week. Starting today is the only way it's gonna happen! Keep it…

Also, my ticker shows the weight I started at once I found this site. Is there any way to change the starting weight to the heaviest I was?

Sometimes eating a solid meal after dieting can actually crank your metabolism. It's always a nice surprise for me when I get steak and potatoes and end up dropping weight.
-
Use it as motivation to keep trudging forward when you hit landmarks! Don't let it turn to complacency! Keep up the good work.

That is some tough stuff. Way to stick with it!
-
Didn't have a time frame, but just got into the 1's as well. Congratulations!

It slows down with every pound you drop. Once I hit 210 I couldn't just run faster or farther to keep the results going. I finally had to change my diet up. (Cooking at home isn't THAT bad it turns out). Soda was also a big factor. Water gets old for me, but even replacing soda with orange juice, vitamin water, or…

Holy crap! You must feel like you're walking on air! I lost maybe 20lbs and can notice a difference in everything I do.
-
Wow! I am just going to come look at this page on the days I don't feel like running. Y'all are an inspiration.
-
yeah, I'm a big fan of weight lifting. I've just always had this layer of fat over my muscle, and I'm pretty annoyed with it now. I'm ready to be done with it.

Same thing with some members of my family, but after a while my influence started having effect on their lives. You know you're being an influence, and have pure motives so keep it up.

I'm so excited to do the initial test and get this thing started! It's about time for me to get into shape!
-
I'm a little bit nervous, but more excited than anything. Anyone have some advice or words of wisdom for me? Also, anyone interested in suffering through this thing together? (The P90X forum sucks)

Isn't it amazing the timing of remembering your stupid mistake. I have those moments a lot...:grumble:
-
you must've been scratching the hell out of your calf :indifferent:

I have found a show I love watching daily, and have made a habit of watching that show while I run on the treadmill. It started off with jogging a mile, and then walking a lap...repeating until the show ended. Now, I find myself running at a good pace throughout the show. It's at least an idea for the freezing days.…

You were right to be worried by the past two days. The more times you go over, the easier it will be to let happen. Eventually, you'll just quit going to this site altogether. In a couple months you'll think to yourself, man, imagine how much I could've lost in that time, it went by so fast. For me, I have to not have…

glad you decided to turn things around! keep it up and you can be on commercials some day and inspire even more people than you already are.
-
thanks, and wow. congrats on all the weight lost!
-
I'm impressed with this site so far. I'm hoping it will be another small incentive addition. 185lbs here I come.
-
haha, not bad.
