Trying to keep it going...

I just got back from hiking portions of the Appalachian Trail all summer, working at an all boys' summer camp. I am in better hiking shape, but not necessarily that great of shape overall. I've been jogging every night and being good about what I eat. I made some progress this summer, but I'm not satisfied yet. I've never had a six pack before, but it's gonna happen!

    Good luck. Keep at it and you will be able to achieve it. It sounds like you have been really good about doing cardio. Have you added in any strength training yet?
  • yeah, I'm a big fan of weight lifting. I've just always had this layer of fat over my muscle, and I'm pretty annoyed with it now. I'm ready to be done with it.

    Cardio is what will get rid of that fat, stick with it!... I love hiking I just don't get to do it much because I don't have time to drive to trails and such...
