The site will tell you that if you enter your info. You can choose between sedentary or active lifestyles - sounds like you may want to pick one level up from sedentary. That will give you your baseline calories. When you do exercise, enter the exercise in and the site will add additional calories you can then eat.

I know that I have trouble getting all of my protein in, so if you are getting adequate amounts from what you are eating, then the source doesn't matter as long as you are getting all of the different amino acids your body needs. Lol - well at least I'm not the only one! My boyfriend cooked dinner for us the other night and served it with . . . wine! So, I caved and had a glass (or two). Bah, no good. He is taking me to Cinco de Mayo this weekend as well and I'm debating whether I can get away with one overpriced margarita.

Starting weight, May1: 165.4 lbs. Goal weight, May 31 : 158 lbs. I had been really good about cardio, but got sick, so my goal for this week will be to get back in the habit of doing 40 min of cardio three times a week at least.

I'm not sure that it is terrible to be a little low on carbs. It serves as a fast access fuel, so as long as you feel energetic during your workouts, you are probably ok. Doing ok and still losing weight. Finally below 166 and hoping to lose more. I'm with those of you saying that giving up booze permanently isn't going to happen, but cutting back in the long term is probably going to happen. I don't want to gain it all back as soon as I lose it.

I do have the same problem, so I eat my workout calories right after I work out. So, I am getting used to eating my normal daily amounts everyday and then just the extra after my workout on the days that I go.

When I have a stomach bug, the only stuff I can eat is buttered toast and apple juice. Everything else will make me sick.
