This is what my day was like today:

B: 1 cup multigrain cheerios w/ 1/4 cup milk + an orange

L: 2 slices ww weight waters bread w/ 1tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp honey + 1 banana

S: 100 cal breyers ice cream

D: bean and cheese burrito w/ 2 tbsp sour cream + 1/2 cup cottage cheese + 1/2 blueberries

S: apple sauce

at the end of the day my numbers look like this:

cals: -8 (1,230 total)
carbs: -42 (169 total)
fat: +12 (41 total)
sugar: +1 (46 total)

after exercising i'm still at -5 carbs.....will this affect my diet by me being -42 though?

  • I'm not sure that it is terrible to be a little low on carbs. It serves as a fast access fuel, so as long as you feel energetic during your workouts, you are probably ok. I notice that you didn't list your protein intake though and eating too little protein WILL definitely hurt your diet. You will burn muscle when you work out and during normal activities to make up for the lack of protein. You will also have trouble with concentration and memory because your brain needs protein in order to function properly. The food you listed doesn't seem to include very much protein.

at the end of the day i'm only under my protein by 1.

i don't eat meat, and don't really like nuts, beans ect. i do eat beans in the burrito though does that count lol!
  • Oh sure! I know that I have trouble getting all of my protein in, so if you are getting adequate amounts from what you are eating, then the source doesn't matter as long as you are getting all of the different amino acids your body needs. If you don't eat meat, you probably know better than me how to get them from other sources.
