  • I know the combination of the bad boy with the "would do everything for you", cute good boy.
  • Eat good fats, together with the high-protein intake. As a guy you won't have problems bulking up. :) Good luck!
  • I should accept the challenge in spite of being tomorrow my "rest" day. I would start it today, since I'm working out double in order to make up for tomorrow.
  • I've never had any frozen dinner/meal from the store. I usually cook extra on weekends, divide into portions in tupperwares and there I have my frozen meals for emergencies. I like knowing what's in my food, and store frozen meals sound way too processed.
  • Whey protein here too. I cannot eat all the protein I should on weekdays.
  • I do not blow dry my hair, it keeps it nicer than blow-drying or using any heat-iron. I've been eating more red meats -on weekends, so I keep the iron and proteins up. Multivitamins, exercise and relaxation at night also help to keep stress levels low. Remember that stress influences one's weight, and hair, among other…
  • Fiber one original has 57% of the fiber and NO sugar at all. You can add it to your yogurt or milk. I also use some Benefiber powder, it has flavor and it mixes well with milk.
  • kroger's non-fat, plain greek yogurt tastes great. Sometimes, I'll slice an apple and use the slices as a spoon. It's a great snack or half meal. ^_^ It is cheaper than Chiobani's
  • That's what I do to mix up Turbo Fire and P90X. ^_^ otherwise I need to do Plyometrics and Kempo in order to feel like I worked out.
  • You shouldn't worry if the sugar comes from fruit, and plain natural yogurt. Lactose, fructose, are natural sugars. Beware the flavored yoghurts, also the breads you buy at the store, ... everything is loaded with "useless" sugars. You can sweeten plain yoghurt with honey, or with some strawberries...
  • I do not go out much because I prefer exercising, doing outdoor activities, etc. I also go to bed early so I can work out early, etc. If I go out, it's kinda early and I do some dancing, but I don't do the drinking thing anymore (once or twice a year). Instead, I rather drink/cook with wine and/or beer at home, with…
  • hair needs protein too. Since increasing the protein intake, and taking a hair, nails skin multivitamin I have had my hair grow much longer and healthier. It's below my midback now! ^_^ Good luck!
  • I am with you healthy gals. Once I dated a guy who told me that if he had to dine out he always wanted to go to fast food chains, and that he could never do without junk food. That was my first and last date with him. I won't betray my lifestyle and beliefs, I want to stay true to what is important: thebody is the vessel…
  • Running, swimming, squats with weights, kicks, and stretching will help get rid of the fat. However, if you don't eat healthy stuff, no matter how much you work out, you won't get rid of it... the more processed foods (carbs and sugars) you eat, the worse for your leg, thigh and knee fat. It's normal that your knees hurt…
  • Thanks for this post. I agree to some extent with the author. I cannot imagine only doing weights, maybe because for me appearance is important, but not as important as improving endurance, stretching abilitiy, etc. I know that without strength/weight training one is quite limited. However, cardio enhances performance in…
  • all these sound good. sometimes I've added strawberries, (almond) milk, bananas, oatmeal, cinnammon, etc
  • You are a hottie!! ^_^
  • Running, planks and squats for me. Although I do LOVE stretches!!! they make me feel extremely good, as a great finish to my workout, doing something without too much effort at which I am quite good. ^_^
  • I usually have the opposite problem. Very low blood pressure. 90/58 are my normal numbers. If I do not work out regularly it drops to 75/45 and I've almost fainted. Knowing this, I listen to my body much more, and I can prevent any drops (by eating something salty for example).
  • TF is fast and high impact: Aerobics. CLX as you know, is strength training. You'll love combining both. If I were you, I would continue with some strength training while you do TF, if you are used to heavy weights with CLX you may want to ramp up the elastic bands-weights in the TF workouts. Enjoy them!! ^_^
  • Great pics!! they also show that you were full of energy and having a great time! ^_^
  • Those programs depend on your level of fitness. P90X is more advanced and much harder, 60 minute workouts minimum, and lots of push-ups, weights, ...
  • is Quick Trim an application like MFP? for the cellphone?
  • I have usually done sauna after 1 hour of doing cardio and stretches. It will relax you a lot, but be aware that it may relax you a bit too much. However, the skin will be soft as a baby's afterward, put some lotion and you'll feel like like new. I'm so looking forward to some sauna, sunbathing, some... everything cool…
  • By the way, I do not know what surge recovery is, but I guess that it may refer to some protein shakes and post-workout, recovery drinks/bars. Have a great weekend!
  • Hydrate the skin with lotion, and maybe you want to add some firming lotion. Always after working out, and of course, do not forget to do strength training, inner thigh exercises and kicks. It takes a while to get what you want, do not expect immediate results with anything... Good luck! ^_ ^
