I do a Bootcamp consisting of the same type of workouts as yours 5x's a week starting at 530am. I do a protein shake before I go. I feel a lot better when I do a shake and I have a better workout. I'd give it a try and if it doesn't work out for you then just keep doing what you're doing. Everyones body works differently…

That's frustrating, but at least you know your fluctuations

OMG the same thing happens to me! Last week it was a craving for cake! lol I never crave cake. It was so weird. I, of course, had a slice of cake btw. hahaha you have to give in to cravings sometimes

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I wasn't saying that we all don't go through the fluctuations on the daily. I was only making the connection to this specific instance. I like to know the reasons of my extreme fluctuations. It's how my mind works. Im very analytical.

Men have it so easy it seems. They don't have to worry about this kind of gain/loss every month on top of the usual gain/loss struggles. SO annoying! lol

See! It's totally a thing. I thought it might have been a myth and then it happened to me too. I was so relieved I wasn't being bad and gaining fat instead of water.

Thank you so much :) I'm sure you look awesome! It's just hard when you see yourself everyday. That's why I take progress pics. You should start doing them for yourself, they are great reminders of how far you ave come. Also, 3 workouts a week is great! Don't beat yourself up about it. As long as you keep staying active…

I love my progress photos. It really helps to see your progress and it makes you feel so proud looking back at how far you have come. I just posted my first "Success Story" with my pics. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10161841/14-pounds-down-feeling-so-good-pics#latest It's great hearing all the feedback…

Thanks! Im so happy I've been taking progress photos. Sometimes it can be so difficult to see the changes when you see yourself everyday. Anyone else find that it takes a long time before others see the difference? Im just now getting people who are noticing and complimenting me on my loss.

Thanks! I think the loss looks greater because I have lost nearly 5% body fat. I believe my weight training has helped me keep my muscle and lose mostly body fat. I'd like to lose another 2-3% body fat ideally.

Thanks! I have worked so hard and happy to finally be seeing results!

I'm so confused by all these "bugs" people are having. I have never had an issue with my app or with accessing it in my browser. What kind of issues are y'all having? I love MFP and I understand the reason for making a paid option. I do not believe for second that they will make the free option disappear. There are a ton…

The shock of having a clothing item look super cute when you try it on "just for fun" thinking it'll look terrible.

I didn't read all the reply's, sorry if this is a repeat. My take on suggesting training in this way is the concept that muscle burns more calories. Our largest muscle groups happen to be the lower half of our bodies, so by training those muscle groups more heavily you'll burn more calories as those muscles develop. That's…
