My fitness camp instructor recommended a protein shake after workout, too. I bought a case of muscle milk light from Coscto and keep one in a cooler in my car to enjoy on drive home.

Right now, I love those little Cutie Clementine oranges. Refreshing, easy to peel and eat, at about 35 calories each.

I felt overwhelmed when looking, too. After a lot of research and weighing options, I got a Polar FT 7 and couldn't be happier. It was easy to learn and the chest strap is surprisingly comfortable. No monthly fee, the display on the treadmill is a bonus and I think the cal count is much more accurate. Good luck. :-)

I agree. Make the best food choices you can while enjoying your events. Look for opportunities to be active by taking stairs instead of elevator or walking early in the morning, if you can. I find that I tend to overeat if I restrict calories too low. Have a great weekend!

What a wonderful, well-timed idea! I do strength work twice a week and need to add 3 days of cardio. Goal for May is to drop at least 5 lbs and lower body fat. I have 24 lbs to go. Thanks for organizing this!
