  • I'm late to the party, but this is great! Thanks!
  • Sometimes these threads are funny... but this just makes me sad. That overweight lady on the bike isn't paying $40 a month to be judged by you about her workout routine. She's not bothering you, and yes, it IS better than sitting on the couch at home. Plenty of people like her are too intimidated to join a gym because…
  • Sunday - rest Monday - 3.4 mi run Tuesday - 3 mi run - I tried out the Zombie, Run app. Good times! I ran a 10 min mile for 30 min without stopping, pretty fast for me. Zombies are very motivating
  • Yeah, always before you cook.
  • SW: 160 CW: 150 - Jul 31 GW: 145 Weigh in Dates: 8/1 148.5 8/8 147 8/15 145.5 8/22 144 8/31 142.5 Total weight lost: 7.5 lbs Woohoo!
  • I've lost 17lbs eating Lean Cuisines, Kashi, Jimmy Dean D'light breakfast sandwiches, etc. Basically forcing myself into portion control. It was also a super stressful time in my life and I couldn't work up the mental energy to cook, log recipes into MFP, etc. My bff used a meal delivery service for awhile. If you can…
  • Whoa! I read your other thread and felt for you, but now I don't feel bad for you at all ;) You look amazing!!!! What a super cute bathing suit! His family can shove it. Seriously. High five girl.
  • Sunday - 4 miles trail running Monday - 3.5 miles trail running Tuesday - 2 miles track running Wednesday - rest Thursday - 3.3 miles trail running Friday - 7.2 miles hiking Total - 20 miles
  • My roommate is a bada$$...she can do multiple unassisted pullups. It's kind of a party trick for her. I'm not even close to doing one :-P
  • Running for sure, no equipment required and you can do it just about anywhere.
  • Same way you lose 100lbs...eat fewer calories than you expend ;) Track your calories, get some exercise, drink lots of water, all the usual stuff. Good luck.
  • I'm eating my Kashi Go Lean Original with almond milk at the moment - 140 cal for a cup, 13 grams of protein and 10 grams of fiber. For a really awesome snack top it with one of the 100 cal vanilla greek yogurts instead of almond milk. It'll add another 13 grams of protein and it's a LOT of food for 240 cals :)

  • I'm mildly anti-social at work and I eat alone. On the rare occasion that someone comments on my food I just give them a "yeah? huh" and go back to reading my book or whatever I'm doing. I can't remember any specific occasions because I just care that little about my coworkers' occasional clueless comments. Now the one…

  • That is awful. wtf???????? You're so pretty!
  • All the stress in my life right now is motivating me to eat right and hit the gym to burn off frustration, anger, and sadness. Stress usually drives me to food for comfort, but not this time. Also...guys, cute clothes, bathing suits, and various shallow things
  • Awesome! I decided I want to look HOT for my 30th birthday in January. I've been working really hard this summer and I just hit goal weight this week (woohoo!). Goals: 1. Maintain weight and continue lifting weights to get toned 2. Run a 10k before my birthday 3. Kick *kitten* and take names competing my horse this fall…
  • I know in theory this is bad, but the past two months have been super stressful on me and I've been relying on lean cuisines rather than trying to cook anything. A lot of times I eat one for lunch and one for dinner. At dinner I heat up veggies and add those in. I've lost 15lbs and I'm at goal weight and feeling pretty…

  • I'm exactly 6' with I think a medium frame. HW 162 CW 144 Pants: 6 Shirts: small Dress: 4 or 6 (bigger on bottom, small on top, no boobs - dress shopping is tricky) I was always quite thin as a kid and all through high school. College and 20s I fluctuated from 150-160 which is a perfectly healthy range so I never worried…
  • Banana Republic!!!! I went to the outlet mall last weekend and did some serious damage at the BR, haha. It was my reward for hitting goal weight. Three pairs of size 6L dress pants for $29 each (!!!!!!), kick *kitten* jeans for $45, dress skirt for $13, dressy shirts, sweaters, and a t-shirt. All the dress pants are long…
  • I never trust the volume measurements for anything...always weigh. It should say the number of grams per serving on the box.
  • This is seriously one of my favorite posts ever on this site.
  • I stopped running outside with the unbearable summer heat, and treadmill miles are boring to log ;) It's been gorgeous in Maryland lately. Back to the trails! Sunday 8/19 - ran 4.0 miles
  • I'm tall...and I guess pear shaped? I'm really small on top and when I gain it tends to be in my tummy and thighs. I'm definitely a size or two smaller up top than on the bottom. Is that a pear or an apple? :embarassed:
  • Want to be REALLY pissed off? That'll happen when you realize that the published nutritional info isn't even accurate a lot of the time. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/12/health/12calo.html Recent example... I ordered the premium grilled chicken classic sandwich at McDonalds. Listed calories are 350 per their website. Let…
