  • Go for it! And enjoy the birthday cake/wine/whatever!
  • Olives Mushrooms Sweet potatoes Cottage cheese Everything that lives in water. I tried and tried. I wish I liked all of these... I just can't.
  • Now you make me wonder if the pants I wear in class where we do a million squats are see-through.. haha. My black Reebok, Under Armour and GapBody are definitely thick enough. I really like some of the new ones from Old Navy and they are pretty thick too! They're not plain black though.
  • Awesome thread! I'm 5'6.5'' (yep, very precisely haha) and I like to see photos of people who achieved (or are on their way to) their goals! It's great also to see different body types, people carrying their weight differently. Hoping I'll be able to post photos on here in a couple of months! Cheers to all of you, thanks…
  • Love the kitchen scale! I weigh pretty much everything but for an egg I'll go with the egg size (large) rather than the scale. In the beginning, I was often surprised by some food weights, like : wow, that's a lot of cooked chicken or the opposite : wow, that's not many tortilla chips haha
  • Well done! I work in cycling and I met a team this summer, Team Novo Nordisk. All their athletes have type 1 diabetes and are pro cyclists, do marathons/ironman, etc.! Very inspiring people. You might already know about them but if you don't, I invite you to look at their FB page or website if you'd like.
  • I'm a David's Tea fan! I have so many favorites.. Lime gelato is yummy (green tea), I really like their flavored black teas and some herbal. You get 3 different free samples when you order online!
  • Yay, plenty of new friends! I hope no one was offended by my friends ''criterias'' haha, I like you all whether you're in your 20's or not or have child or not, I'm just looking for people in a similar situation to me! I wasn't expecting so many requests haha, that's great! I accepted most of the requests, think it'll be…
  • Hi! 5'6.5 (yep, the .5 is crucial here haha). Started at 175, currently at 169, my first goal is 150, then I'll see!
  • Happy to know I'm not alone loving my food scale haha! I use it all the time, like someone else said it is pretty useful for veggies and fruits!
  • I enjoy reading all your plans! My boyfriend and I are going to a small thaï restaurant and a movie after. Not really special, since we go to the movie theater very often haha. I plan on baking either cookies or brownies with valentine's day M&M as a little attention so he'll be able to bring some to work!
  • Hi there! I'm from Québec (Canada), moving to France (Paris) for 3 months at the end of January. Looking forward to discover Paris and travel to other places on the week-ends! Also looking forward to the amazing food haha

  • Hi there! 24, no kids, graduated from university (LL.B. and MBA) 2 months ago! I love cooking and finding/sharing new recipes, I take various workout classes at the gym (bootcamp, zumba, hiking, etc.). I started running this summer, I have to say that I struggle a little with it haha but I plan on becoming a better runner!
  • Mini caprese salad! I cut a tomato in quarters, a little salt, pepper, a little balsamic vinegar, a few torn basil leaves and a little fresh mozarella. I make it often as a side dish I also like baked tortilla chips with salsa or air popped popcorn
  • I was about to say the exact same thing! I would personnaly get bored doing just elliptical or treadmill.. at my gym, I can switch between cardio machines and there is a lot of possibilities for strength training (lot of different equipments). I can also go to as many class I want, so I usually go to bootcamp, spinning,…
  • That is SO great! My scale has been stuck for over than a month, even tough I work out and eat correctly. You're right, the scale can be a great motivation, but can be the opposite too. Keep up the good work dear!
  • What a coincidence, I was thinking about starting it today! Bought it on Itunes a couple months ago, but didn't really try it yet. So here it is, Level 1 Day 1.... :)
  • Taken before my dance school's show in June. I do tap dance, if the gold sequins costume and red lip didn't give it away already lol ;)
  • 24 years old canadian here who's just about to finish grad school! :)
  • Made a delicious caprese panini! Flat bread, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinegar and I added chicken for a little protein
  • Hi everyone, from Sherbrooke, Quebec! It was really hot and sunny outside today, had to stay indoor to study all day (3 weeks until my MBA is over!), good thing I have air conditioning lol
  • I second that! There is more than one version of the Aqualia Thermal daily care. I have sensitive skin and the ''light'' cream is perfect for me (better than the Avène Hydrance ''light'' cream for me, I tried both). Also, I use the Vichy Pureté Thermale Purifying foaming water cleanser or the Purifying foaming cream…
  • I aim for 1600 too for the moment! Sending request!
  • Ths is SO awesome!!! Love your ''happy dance'' pic haha! Enjoy the long week-end too and.. Happy birthday!!
