Not yet. I’ve heard mixed responses. From what I’ve read, I’d doesn’t fix the underlying issues causing the pain. But I’ll certainly talk to my podiatrist again. I’ve got an appointment this week.

Goal yesterday = stay in the green. Accomplished thanks to biking into work and karate in the evening. Otherwise I would have gone over (due to cheesy wrap and Nutella mocha). I like that I can have nice things if I exercise enough. Tomorrow’s goal is the same. It will be the first time in two weeks that I stay in the…

I was able to eat about 7 chips and a tiny bit of chicken. Now completely stuffed. Lol.

Goal: don't eat above my calorie limit. Today, being sick meant I didn't eat at all. I'm still going to count it as a success. I have a tablet now which is helping keep food down. So I can eat again from now. Having a small dinner and will get back into normal routine tomorrow.

I seem to be sick atm. So completely blew off my goal yesterday. Will try to get back on top of things today. Goal - no refined carbs unless tummy is off and im struggling to eat. If so, 1x toast and try and eat normally again later.

So it turns out that Im a little sick. I thought it was just the change in diet, but two night ago was ill throughout the night. Still not 100% today, but didnt have a fever last night. I ate bread products yesterday hoping to settle my stomach, but it is still off this morning. Possibly takes a couple days? Anyway, I…

End of my weekly challenge for myself and I score myself a 5.5/7 1 point for spot on days, 0.5 for mostly great days which are still on goal but possibly overeating my calories a little. Today I lost 1 point as i caved and had some chocolate I was given as a present. But I’m still not upset, which feels really nice. I did…

Thanks! Will do. And thanks for the video. I have been eating back my exercise calories this week. Do you know if my guess about body learning to to use fat instead of carbs has any research backing it? I know I have read about your body getting use to it. I just thought it would have happened earlier this week.

Im going to have a snack later when my stomach doesnt feel odd. If it isnt too late (9pm here) The feeling is going away with relaxing now.

Side note: I just wrote a long-ish reply and pressed ‘done’ on the iphone screen. ‘Done’ just exits out of the forums and I lost my message. Lol!! By ‘before’, I am referring to 5 years ago when I was able to lose and maintain a loss of 17kg for quite a while. Then, I moved cities to starting my first industry job. Slowly,…

I never noticed quite how many times I have been presented with opportunities to eat poorly at work and for free! No wonder my weight kept creeping all the way back up! Yesterday (day 3), one of the girls was offering pizza. Plus, there are still all the lollies up for grabs on our kitchen counter. Going to strength my No…

JFT Jan 1-7 No refined carbs. Going well so far. Very happy to be getting into day 4 where it starts to get easier to say no to bad food. Interesting, one thing that has kept me going strong during the day is knowing I have some delicious chilliconcarne leftovers for dinner. I think taking the time to prep something that…

Thanks everyone! I definitely want to adjust my attitude and behaviour around emotional eating. Trying to ensure I have some other outlets that are quick enough to do while at work. I find ‘allowing’ a little if I really want it just doesnt work well at the moment for me. Going to slowly introduce treats as a sometimes…

Good work everyone! Keep up your goal tracking! My weeks goal is to not eat any refined/processed carbs. Taking one day at a time. Today (day 2) is nearly over and a successful day.

Finally finished all nine pages. Thought I'd bump the topic back to the top of the page so I'll have more to read when I get back from my shower :)

Also, I still love things like chocolate and chips. If I have been good for a week, then I no longer crave them, but as soon as I am bad, the cravings come back for another week. I was craving icecream last night, but had a mango and the craving went away entirely. So I think my body just wanted sugar.

It is official. I no longer fit into clothes at City Chic. It is a store for bigger women. One of those ones where a small is actually a size 18. They always have fashionable clothing though and different from any other store. Unlike those annoying Target and BigW 'plus' sizes. Which are hanging rags (seriously, do they…

I am pretty tired today. That could be the catalyst. ... physically exhausted, I mean, not tired. But not completely out of energy (that might be the endorphin's kicking in from boxing though, lol)

I've basically been doing gym work since about the beginning of November. I gained 3kg in three weeks over christmas, and am back to where I was when I left for the holidays. I do boxing and boot camp classes as well as personal training. It's the personal training I think that has really given me the drive to keep going.…

Thanks a lot guys. Im 23, 5'8". At the moment I am trying to stay below 85 (lol). My overall goal for the last year has been to get to 75kg and then reassess from there. Probably my most immediate goal is to get to 80kg. ... it feels weird to even think that, let alone type it... :D

Here's the 100 and 85 pics side-by-side

It is amazing how much smaller your chest is! And your face.... and your back doesnt have as big a curve to it anymore too. Amazing work! Keep it up. (also, your arms are smaller, lol)
