Accountability Post

So, Im back on track. Starting back at the beginning weighing 106kg, but on day 4 now and going strong.

I’ve decided to use MyFitnessPal as a bit more of a journal. Not focusing on logging food so much but trying to maintain my goal of no refined carbs. I know it works as I have done it before.

So far it is going well. As a bonus, I’ve also been getting up at 6am to stretch. I have had plantar fasciitis for over a year now and it doesn’t look like it will go away. Stretching helps it from getting too tight, but I just cannot jog anymore.

I’m going to get in and shred these kg!

I know it works as I have done it before. Are you sure that means "no refined carbs" is a good goal?

Side note: I just wrote a long-ish reply and pressed ‘done’ on the iphone screen. ‘Done’ just exits out of the forums and I lost my message. Lol!!

By ‘before’, I am referring to 5 years ago when I was able to lose and maintain a loss of 17kg for quite a while. Then, I moved cities to starting my first industry job. Slowly, but surely, bringing lots of carbs back in with free food at work, social lunches, stress eating and regular brunches with new friends.

I find going cold turkey helps me reset and focus. Get back to a 1200 calories a day without too much stressing over everything I eat and finally, it gets rid of my cravings. Later, i will try adding them back in slowly and in moderation. But for now, I believe I need that reset button :)
