Thanks for the advice! I think you're right- I did 17.5 this week and my leg is hurting me. My boyfriend (who is a physical therapist) told me to take at least 2 days off and try to ease into it a little more, for my body's sake. Gotta listen to my body!

I grew up always getting sick after eating. I was "diagnosed" with IBS and tested negative for celiac. In November of 2011 I did the FODMAP test to see what my food allergy was- I gave up gluten, dairy and soy for a month and through that I realized that I was definitely intolerant to gluten. I am self-diagnosed gluten…

Wow, thanks for sharing everyone! It feels good to know that once I get comfortable with 20 miles a week I can gradually build up from there.

I looove corn tortillas- I use them for everything! I eat them pretty much every morning as an egg burrito- I've also used them as a crust for quiche. I cut them in triangles or strips and use my misto to spray olive oil on them and bake them for tortilla chips or strips. I use them for tacos and enchiladas too. Basically…

Last night I made Gluten Free Chicken Parm- For Breadcrumbs I put about 1 cup of GF brown rice crispies (Kellogs) in my food processor with some Italian seasoning. It worked great! It tasted like the chicken parm I remember!

Hi! When I first made the switch to gluten free I actually gave up a lot of that stuff all together and focused on foods that were naturally gluten free. Now that I've been eating gluten free for almost a year I've found substitutes that work for me: Pasta- Spaghetti Squash (added nutrients! super low cal) or I pick up…

Gluten Free since last December!! Add me to see my diary- I find it very helpful to peek at what other people are eating for their meals!

I echo everyone else saying that you should give it at least another week- I tired to do my elimination diet around the holidays last year and I would cheat and then start up again. In January I did it for real for about a month because I really wanted to find the culprit. My celiac test also came back negative. The month…

Rudi's does make a multigrain gluten free bread that is delicious though! It's in the freezer section. I like it better than Udi's because it has much less ingredients.

I just moved in with my boyfriend a couple of months ago. No, not all men are like that. I thought that my boyfriend was being a little too messy at first, the dishes were our biggie too. One night I calmly asked him if he could pick it up a little with the dishes. Since then he's done great! He wasn't even thinking about…

All of these stories are making me smile! I met my boyfriend on okcupid. We emailed and talked on the phone for awhile before we met up. I asked him on our first date if we could lie about where we met because I was so embarrassed and he said he wouldn't start a relationship with a lie. It's so funny that we met online…
