Yep, me too. It doesn't take long to break my sugar addiction, but when I do I notice a HUGE difference. I started keto (again) a little over a week ago. By day 3 I was feeling fantastic, and not even really caring about food. (I say keto again as I've done keto off and on for years, while lifting also. It was key in…

Keto has meant almost NO cooking for me. What are you cooking!?

Yep. That's my monthly goal; didn't hit it last month, but I will this month! Date 8/1/17 Starting weight: 340 Current weight: 283 Goal weight: 160 I started a strength training program 5/30, and also had a big diet change. On that date I was about 307; I'd lost some weight just willy nilly prior to starting this program.

There is no "cheating." Every choice is just that... a choice. Every action has repercussions. So you look at your options, you consider your goals, and then you make a choice. PERIOD. To me it's very dysfunctional to have a plan and goals, and then "build in" a period where you will be doing your damnedest to sabotage…

While I don't have a crystal ball, I think you might be right about that. I know a number of people who have had various WLSs, and many more who have considered it. I ask them this: If you were to walk into your doctor's office and say, "Hey doc! I'm going to lick this weight loss issue. I'm going to only eat three…

Yea, but see... this depends upon personal responsibility, and placing the onus for owning the reality and investing in the work necessary to see change. And lawd knows a lot of people don't like THAT.

Hi there! Yep, gotta lose a lot. I'd love to be able to share those unique challenges with others that get it. AquariusKate, remember that feeling! Use it... next time your mind is telling you that you want to do it, forecast into the future and realize how bad you'll feel... and then make a good choice!

Me please! The more the merrier. I'd love to share our successes, and our challenges!

Add me as well... I'm looking for the same -- accountability buddies, both to cheer my success and kick my butt when I deserve it. I'm "back in the saddle." My goals this week are simple: log each day, stick to the calorie limit, and do something active over my lunch hour (even if it's just a 20 minute walk). Weigh in…
