  • I was think about doing the RI30...how did you like it?
  • I logged it under 'circuit training' in MFP at first, then I got an HRM and used that to see my calorie burn. MFP wasn't far off from what the HRM said. I usally burned about 280-294 calories per workout.
  • Thank you! I just did the BFBM workout and there is jumping in it....I don't feel like there was as much as in the 30DS. It definitely works your legs. Not sure how it would be for your knees...if I were you I might see if you can find some clips from it online and be able to see some of the movements they do to see if it…
  • Thanks! It's one of Jillian Michael's workout dvds that has 3 levels of circuit training. It's about a 20-25 min workouts that you do daily but it's high intensity so you really get a good workout in a short amount of time. ;)
  • I was sooo sore after the first couple days but I just made myself push through it (for once in my life...lol) and after about day 4-5 the soreness slowly went away. I did do all 30 days in a row except for 3 days because I was sick with a sinus infection. It definitely took a bit of discipline to workout EVERY day but now…
  • Thank you! About half way through the 30DS I started jogging on the treadmill for about 12-15 mins (about a 12 min mile pace) 3 days a week and then by level 3 I started jogging basically everyday either before or after doing the 30DS workout. If I didn't feel like jogging then I would just walk on an incline for the same…
  • Thank you all so much! You all just made my day...I feel like a rockstar! LOL I really have been work my butt off and I just finished day 1 of the Burn Fat Boost Metabolism and it kicked my butt a bit, but I feel like I did better then I would have a month ago! If you set your mind to it, you really can do it. :)
  • That's fantastic! Congrats and keep it up!
  • Level 3 is a lot more legs than upper body...that's my opinion anyway. I like it a lot more than level 2, but it will still kicks my butt. I feel like it takes a lot of the basics from level 1 and 2 but just adds more intensity to them. Overall it's a good workout. Tonight will be day 3 for me. (some of the hardest moves…
  • First day of level 3 was last night and I like it sooo much more than level 2. My legs are definitely getting more of a workout in this level, but overall I like it! Excited to see what the end result will be on day 30! Only 9 days to go!! What workouts is everyone else planning on doing after you complete the 30 day…
  • Hey at least you tried! lol There's nothing wrong with a day off...just get back at it tomorrow! :-)
  • I know how you feel...I really have to talk myself into it everyday, but once I do it I feel so good! Just think of those calories you're burning and how good you are going to feel afterwards! You got this!!! :-)
  • Yea, level 2 was a complete shock to me too! lol But it does get a bit easier each day. I'm on day 6 of level 2 and I still hate the planks...lol. But no pain, no gain! We can all do this! I can't wait to see what everyones final results are after the 30 days are up! :)
  • That's awesome! I'm still doing the modify versions of the plank jumps, but I'm going to try and do them the "real" way in tonight’s workout. I do pretty good on the walkout push ups, but still can't keep my legs 100% straight the whole time (I'm crazy inflexible!) lol It's hard to believe that I'm already half way through…
  • I'm on day 5 of level 2. I must say that I absolutely HATE PLANKS!!! LOL They kill me! As much as I hate them I'm still sticking with the routine and I'm feeling good. I'm down 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks and I know I have lost inches but I'm not going to measure again until the 30 days are up. Good luck everyone!! :)
  • I felt the same way on day one! I was so sore for the first three days but kept with it every day and was surprised by how fast my body adapted and was able to do the workouts without having to modify everything. I think you may surprise yourself...you may do better than you think! Just stick with it and you'll do great! :)
  • Today will be my 15th day on the 30DS! Level 2 is killing me...I do get a little better at it every day but those planks really annoy me! LOL This level is pretty hard and I'm getting nervous about level 3... I have lost 4 lbs in the last two weeks and I'm know I have lost inches but I think I will wait until the 30 days…
  • Today will be my eighth day on the 30 day shred. I definitely feel a difference and I am down 2 lbs this week. I know I have lost inches but I'm going to wait another week before I take my measurements again. I'm really enjoying the workout...which is surprising because I absolutely hate working out. LOL The first two days…
  • I started the 30 day shred two days ago and it is already kicking my butt! lol I just stared MFP two days ago as well. I haven't taken measurements yet, but I will do them tonight. I have though taken pictures of my current state (so not pretty..lol). I will post measurements tomorrow. Currently I weigh in at 184 lbs.…
  • Hey there! I too am trying to get my body fit for pregnancy. I am 28 and finally was able to quite smoking (was smoking for about 10-11 years) just over a month ago and now I'm ready to get this weight under control. I'm currently at 184 lbs and would like to lose at least 40 lbs if not 55 lbs. I just started with…
