Some days we all feel like we can't. But that is untrue. Just pick yourself up and start taking care of yourself. No one else is going to take care of your body but you! It's your body. You will have to live with it for the rest of your life. So hey, might as well make it fabulous "I love life" type of body. The decision…

Thanks for sharing! It makes you realize you just don't get to a destination and that's it. Its continuous journey, process, ongoing..... I guess that is why my name is Keep On Moving. I go up and down too. Life happens. Life changes. But us tough ones never give up.

I have same type of figure. Lately I been going to consignment for jeans, Ross, and JcPennys. I like Lucky Brand, Levis 525? and Levis slim fit. I heard Seven for ManKind is good for our figure type but they are like $200! There is a website that has jeans for different types of figures. Also I saw in some magazine a while…

Sounds like that doctor needs a vacation if he is that up-tight with his patients - if not therapy for himself. I take it this is a MALE doctor. Sorry you had to go through this unpleasant experience. Good luck finding a good doctor. I usually prefer female doctors myself. Most of them are better listeners and can relate…

Enquire minds want to know! (quest from the diet soda addict) If you want, you can sweeten your water with fruit such as lime, orange, or cucumber slices. That might work for you. I still rely on my fake sugar and caffeine to get me through some days.

I've just recently heard of the carcinogen in the carmel coloring of soda that scared me. I also have been hearing about how artificial sweeteners do not break down and can cause kidney failures. But this as been on the subject of diet soda and soda in general. Why do we not hear a big deal on artificial sweetened yogurt…

I have bad knees that resulted from serious running injury. During my acute pain, I found the physical therapy exercises were too easy for me, so I did this DVD called "Strong knees." It has really help me over come pain. Since then, I still have knee issues depending on the weather, depending of being sedentary for…

That's funny you mentioned that. I was just sharing a quote from Dr. Oz that people who are sleep deprived tend to consume an extra 300 calories a day. So get your sleep!
-
Thanks for sharing! It looks correct to me.
-
I agree with the above quote. My once of month throws me off. Try to shake things up on your metabolism and eat more fruits and vegetables in your diet and see what happens. Good luck! I am in the same boat -right with ya.

I can totally tell a difference! Way to go!

Hey Cool Kids! I am a new tag along.

I rarely go to bed hungry unless I am really tired or not totally sure if I am hungry. I like really low fat, low calorie cereal in a small desert bowl with skim milk. That is about 100 to 150 calories and it keeps me satisfied until morning. Otherwise I may not sleep well, or wake up starving in the morning.

Sounds like its all behavioral. Have you seen a specialist in psychology counseling regarding eating disorders? I know I can be a boredom , emotional, happy, stress eater. I never had an eating disorder that took over and caused problems in my life. But I have lost control here and there. Different methods work different…

I really think it's a muscle hypertrophy in one leg. Perhaps you favor one leg in your exercises and don't realize it.

Your only on day 8 on level one. Be patient and keep up the healthy eating and exercise! :drinker: It doesn't happen over night, but take good care of yourself and keep it going......you will be getting results.

Only 30 days? Amazing results! Keep up the good work!

Thank you all for sharing pumpkin recipes! I am a major pumpkin lover as well as a major sweet potato lover! (Don't get me started on the sweet potatoes.) We shall all start a club and create the MFP Pumpkin recipe book! I have a few of my own around the house too. But so far I think you hit on all the major ones.

I hate her too. But after seeing your results - holy cow! I guess I better reconsider her DVDs again.....

Only if you are hungry. Eat light and low fat. Preferable diary to help you sleep better. Maybe a tiny bowl of low cal cereal with skim milk. Stay away from spicy, greasy, heavy foods.

I am speechless!!!!! Who needs bi-gastric surgery when you can do it the healthy way? Your so awesome! Words can't describe how proud I am of you!
-
Wow! You look great! Almost doesn't look like the same person! Keep up the healthy life-style!

It depends on the person. For me, it makes no difference. I been drinking diet pop as my candy, morning coffee. It does not cause me to crave sweets. Sometimes it helps me stop craving sweets. I have been successful by counting calories and eating more nutritious food than unhealthy junk food. But the diet pop is zero…

Ever heard of "Herbs de Provence?" It's hard to find and can be a bit pricy. But it's my turn to spice when nothing else works and I am in a rush to flavor something boring.

check out some web sites like Health.com they have info on sweeteners. Have you heard about Agave? It's sweeter than sugar therefore, you use smaller amounts, saving calories.

Food can be a very emotional thing. I know I have been a boredom eater, a stress eater, guilt eater.... It is kind of a scape goat in how we handle our feelings. It's when we are our strongest, is when we need to out-smart ourselves on how we handle situations that get us in this self-sabotaging mood. Just remember, swim…
