I suffer from chronic constipation but what you are describing to me is something more serious!!!!!! Please see your doctor! Your doctor may order you a CT scan of the pelvis to look at your kidneys and colon. It is very possible you have appendicitis - which if left untreated, can be very dangerous to your health! Please,…

I don't think I could give it up myself. It's my 0 calorie candy. But I don't drink alcohol either. So sue m:tongue: e for my diet soda addiction.

Do what Mom's do to get their kids to eat: sneak some in soups, casseroles, any thing that would be disguised in big flavor. Drown it in low fat cheese?

I made a special lunch for my family today: white cheesy chicken enchiladas (recipe from pinterest.com,) mashed cauliflower white beans with chives (recipe from Biggest Looser Thanksgiving special on NBC,) limeade mixed with POM lite and lime spritzer (recipe from Good Housekeeping Dec. 2011) For desert, Braums frozen…

The most important thing in a marriage is not looks, but what kind of relationship you have. When you both get old and gray or bald, you won't leave each other for your appearance. (At least I hope not. or we all will be in trouble in our 80s.) It's who you want to spend the rest of your life with. :flowerforyou:

Wow! Significant progress! Great job!

I was thinking the above myself. Does your diary show that you are low in protein?

I am sorry, I reported this on the wrong message board. Wow that was weird. :blushing:

I think we all go through phases. I had two Thanksgiving dinners and ate quit naughty before that. I started noticing I was exercising less and my clothes were fitting snugger. So that scared me. Starting last week, I got up early every day. (Believe me I am not a morning person at all.) But I am actually enjoying it!…

I always heard of the standard measuring wrist with your thumb and index finger wrapped your wrist. If your thumb can't touch your index finger, "big bone." If your thumb touches your index finger, "medium." If your thumb over laps your index finger, "small bone." My Dad is small boned like me. As far as weight, I think…

I had two colds this fall, but zero colds for the whole year of 2010! Not sure why because I been taking Zertec for fall allergies. I think my biggest culprit is a lack of sleep that wore down my immune system. The first cold this fall was short with duration because I took Cold-eeze (zinc candy.) My second cold was just a…

I love Billy Blank's This Is Tae Bo. You can get it at some Wal-marts. I also love Jackie Warner's Power Circuits DVD. Can't stand Julian Michaels.

Okay, I will quit while I am ahead, everyone is giving the same advice. :blushing:

Sparkspeople.com which is like My Fitness Pal, just doesn't have great food diary, includes low fat recipes from several of its members.
-
I like what you eat, personally, But I agree, we all need a change when we get in a rut. Try the web site skinnytaste.com for some low fat/ low cal recipes.

Absolutely fabulous! What a wonderful accomplishment! Happy trails to future run/ walks!

I'm impressed! Bet your party was a monster mash success!

I used to think if I ran, I could eat anything I want. I gained muscle, endurance and stamina, but my weight stayed the same. Then when I joined MFP, I really was losing weight! But then I got injured and couldn't run so I kept my eating in control with MFP and still exercised. I lost more weight but it was slower as I…

Love it!

I am not there yet, but I do believe in yoga and pilates. Especially yoga. Start out with beginner's of course. Giamin (spell?) sells inexpensive DVDs at almost any discount store in the sporting goods section. I saw a TV clip a couple years back of a lady in her 90's that teaches yoga. She used to be a dancer and modeled,…

Everyone sounds so mean.... but I think its just out of concern. I too peaked at your diary and concern that you are too low on calories. No wonder its a hard diet. Once you go back to eating "normal," you can gain back everything you lost! Your diet is very healthy on vitamins and that is good. But I do recommend adding…

Yoga, pilates and use of light weights with high reps. Heavy weights will give you bulk. You can never have too much fruits and veggies. Don't forget the LEAN proteins. I am only 5'7 and can't imagine getting down to 125 lbs. Guess its possible.

Welcome to MFP! Never give up! That's my advice. If you have a particular question, might look above this screen and click on "Search." Type in a key word of your interest or question and you will see past topics that may have been discussed previously. Good luck!

I tried it and liked it! Thanks for sharing!

I just started running again this past week after injuring my knees (chondromalica/ runner's knee) from excessive running this same time period a year ago! I never thought I could run again but I have been doing various of cross training exercises to keep up my stamina and staying consistent with it . So it was no surprise…

I did 30 day shred two years ago all the way through (30 days straight) and hated it. But been thinking about trying it again because I am in better shape. I also had knee pain. I later suffered severe knee pain from running in 2010. Can't say I am totally recovered but after research, I have arthritis and know how to keep…

I've tried it 30 days in January of 2009. I did it at 5:30 or 6 am every morning before breakfast on an empty stomach. I was really out of shape then and felt miserable as I am not a morning person. I am thinking about trying it again now that I am better shape. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the tip! I am going to try it!

Right on! I had previously lied. Now I am living the truth thanks to MFP!

I did boxing/ kickboxing all summer. But now that school is started, I had to quit. I miss it so much! :brokenheart: Its a great way to torch calories and a little self defense if you ever needed it. Hope to stay in shape so I can get back into it next year. Enjoy cross over, under-cut, jabbing, kick!
