I came across this on Twitter a week ago, and have used it three time since. I LOVE the way this makes my legs feel immediately after the run, and more importantly how I feel the next day!

Give it a try! Let me know if it works for you!

Thanks for the tip! I am going to try it!
  • Keep the music playing, maybe slow it down, and just unwind. It's a great way to get back to your day, and feel great.

    Just don't fall asleep! Lol.

I just started running again this past week after injuring my knees (chondromalica/ runner's knee) from excessive running this same time period a year ago! I never thought I could run again but I have been doing various of cross training exercises to keep up my stamina and staying consistent with it . So it was no surprise I could run 30 minutes without stopping. My knees didn't hurt but I felt it on my shins (very common when running on sidewalks and for not running in a while.) I probably should start out slow speed and distance and see how far my knees will go. Maybe I will be an "official" runner again.

I love this post Long Run recovery and going to add it to my post exercise routine. Interestingly, I came across this same exercise in my HEALTH magazine. It also helps you sleep better too!
