Looking good!!! I need to start a photo log. The visual transformation is very inspiring and much more motivating than the scale.

I finally got serious last month after a number of false starts...one month later I am down 5 pounds! My goal is to lose an additional 49 pounds. Feel free to add me as a friend-looking forward to working with you on this weight loss journey!

I kept a food journal for a full week to see an accurate record of my eating and trouble spots before I began my weight loss journey. I turn to magazines such as Eating Well, Vegetarian Times, and Cooking Light for meal ideas (or surf their websites). If you need additional help you might consider working with a…

I'm returning to MFP after a 6 week haitus (during which I read the Hunger Games series). The Hunger Games reference got me... feel free to add me as a freind and "may the odds be ever in YOUR favor!"

I'm only in the beginning stages of my weight loss but listen to my friends who have blazed the trail before me. I hear that your body eventually adjusts to your new healthy lifestyle and the only way through the plateau is to step up the routine. Step up the intensity of your workout or try something new such as interval…

Welcome and I completely understand your perspective. The first step for me was being completely honest about everything I eat....I did this for many weeks before committing to any weight loss. I tried dieting in the past and realized recently that it's not a diet I need but a lifestyle change I am in need of and can…

Feel free to add me for support. I've been trying to diet for the past two year but no success. I finally I changed my thinking to embracing a healthy lifestyle through smart choices and activities that make me feel great. I'm finally seeing results after embracing a lifestyle change rather than a diet!

I decided it was time for a lifestyle change where I embrace long term healthy eating habits and regular excercise. I'm been inspired by…

I'm 42 and can't take off the weight like I used. I lost a significant amount of weight at 38 which creeped back on over the years. The tricks I used then do not work as well at 42.

A good local bike shop will be able to help you find a seat that's the right fit. You may pay alittle extra but it's worth and an investment in your health. I went through the same thing and with the help of female staff I found a gel seat that is a better fit and better support for women's wider hips.

In practically every aspect of my life, I make things happen. Sadly, when it comes to weight loss, I wonder what happened? Time to apply my "can-do" attitude to my weight loss goals and commit to it the way I committed to my educational goals.
