OP, no one is attacking you. Honestly, you only did the tape for a few days when the program is designed to be done for a whole month. You didn't do it long enough to form a valid opinion that would warrant warning people against the workout. I'm not being mean. That's just being an adult.

Lean proteins like chicken breast, ground turkey, etc. Perdue Perfect portions are pre-cut, boneless chicken breast. You can eat two, get a load of protein for under 300 calories. Of course, you can just buy regular chicken breast.

Oregon Scientific makes low cost HRMs with chest straps. They get good reviews on Amazon. Also check Ebay for deals.

For tracking purposes, it's the weight of the cooked food.

That's not true at all. It's not like the food is sitting in your belly undigested. Your body uses the food for fuel. You will not be instantly heavier the next day.

How many? If you eat 1800 and you had a kick butt workout and burned 2000, that's one thing. If you eat 500 and work off 2000, then, yeah...problem.

Insanity has a lot of impact. Try working out on a thick mat and get a brace or wrap your knees. See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SATSZblIc0

You can't control people or what they say. You can only control YOUR reaction. You have to learn how to discard the stuff you can't use. You have to learn how to not let stuff like that affect you. You control your thought and your feelings. Choose to forget about what that person said.

I'm not being snarky. There's no magic on the tape. The tape is exercise. So it works. All exercise works. You have to push yourself and work hard. You'll see results.

^Yep, this. Put that food in your food diary and move on. No need to dwell on something that's over and done with. Consider it a high calorie day.

A few years ago, I had to do some traveling for work. Simple tips: -Plan your meals as much as possible. The key is to stay in control as much as possible in a strange environment. -Find sources of good, healthy protein. -Keep a few good exercise DVDs or downloads on hand. -Take exercise bands/tubes with you.

Please do a search. There are a ton of people doing this tape and other Jillian Michael tapes. Here's a RI30 group that's starting on Sunday: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/4235-ripped-in-30-through-april Here's an ongoing JM group:…

Is this a game? I hope not. Anyway, here's an article: http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/11/08/twinkie.diet.professor/index.html Calories are calories for weight loss. Maybe not so for overall health and longevity.

Make sure to have protein at every meal. Use veggies to fill you up and drink lots of water.

My only advice is to feel free to repeat weeks if you need to. Don't feel bad if you can't do it in 8 weeks straight. Give yourself 8, 20, 12 weeks if needed. It's okay.

If what you're doing is working for you, then don't get caught up in the chatter. Eating a piece of steak will not derail you or cause problems. The body just reads it as protein and nutrients.

It takes a lot to gain actual muscle weight. It's a false belief that doing average toning at home causes people to gain muscle weight. The whole "a pound of muscle weighs more than a pound of fat" is false.

I love my scale. You have to divorce your emotions from the number. The only power the number has is the power you give it.

I say this in a supportive manner. Do you have issues with eating or an eating disorder? One thing I noticed from your diary is that you aren't eating "meals." Even busy people on the go can find time to eat a full meal. A sandwich and a healthy side. A chicken breast and some veggies. Even a frozen Lean Cuisine and a side…

Lose weight and do crunches / upper ab/ chest exercises.

Why would anyone use the same machine for an extended period of time? Are you talking about cardio machines where you want to get in a solid 30 mins. or more. If you're talking weight machines, most sets of reps would take less than 10 minutes anyway.

Maybe it's how you are viewing the entire experience. You keep saying "cheat meals and cheat days." There are no such things. There is nothing to "cheat on." Be accountable for everything that you eat and make it fit within your program. Want some cookies? Fine, count them and put them in your food diary. See where they…

What's wrong with wanting to win? It's a competition after all. Winning would be a small perk along the journey.

If it's bothering you, get some muscle cream like Ben Gay or Aspercreme. In the future, remember to stretch the muscle before and especially after you work that muscle group. You may get sore the first few times to work that muscle until you build up some strength.

Why not give yourself permission to eat a few low cal snacks that aren't planned? Is okay to do so. Just put the snacks in your food diary.

There is an ongoing Biggest Loser group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/1977-2012-challenge-be-a-biggest-loser-

Keep some calories left over for spontaneous snacking. There's nothing wrong with snacking as long as it can fit in your overall daily caloric count. Track everything.

Maybe they only want female friends. Isn't that reason enough?

What is your goal? To lose body fat or to lose weight? They are different. If you are trying to lose body fat while maintaining your weight or build muscle, you have to tailor your diet to reach that goal.

Why not just try a different form of cardio?
