First week, yes, second week the opposite. That's probably what it was.

Nope. Ate the same.

I am just starting Keto myself and made a similar post. Seems like there are a fair amount of people who aren't buying the hype with Keto. Too many people are getting tremendous results to ignore it and the best part of it is you will never be hungry.

Thank you, all very helpful stuff.

I've been working third shift for about three years now and it can be a bit tricky. I work from 10 pm - 8 am, and typically sleep from 10 am - 4 pm. I do time restricted eating during these days. So I will usually eat around 10pm, 3am, and 8 am. Fridays I transition back into a normal schedule during the weekend so I will…

I realize everything you read or listen to isn't gospel. However, I am a bit more knowledgeable when it comes to time restricted eating than Keto. I know I did a 14 hour fast every day and 10 hour eating window for a month over the summer. Over those 10 hours I ate whatever I wanted and ate well and I lost 12 pounds. Back…

I don't know it to be right or wrong, but everything I have read has indicated that the state of Ketosis causes your body to become a much more efficient fat burning machine. So while calorie deficit is certainly one way of losing weight, I think the hardcore Keto enthusiasts put far more emphasis on the changes your…

You would be incorrect. I did a lot of research. Unfortunately you see a lot of variations on the program because a lot of people seem to have an attitude about it and want people to think that their way of doing it is the best. TD warned about this in one of those videos, calling people like that Keto Police and saying to…

I hadn't heard or read that. What's the reasoning for getting a lot of salt.

He did lose over 100 lbs so I find it hard to believe he's a total hack. Some of his stories about the way he used to eat and feel before the weight loss are very relatable.

Thanks. I found Thomas DeLauer last night and watched a bunch of his videos.

Thanks for all of the kind responses. My mind is right again. I started logging my food again yesterday and I am sure that will make a significant difference. As someone mentioned above, by cutting out soda and fast food, and exercising regularly I am definitely getting healthier. Until I weighed myself my anxiety and…

Thanks, I am going to keep fighting, as hard as it is right now.

I'm glad something good could come of it. I'm struggling right now. The biggest problem is, even when I'm doing good and feel in control I am obsessing over food, my weight, etc so I actually have zero control. I was 308 pounds in 2012. I am currently at 262. The frustrating thing is over the last two-three years I have…

Thanks for the responses. Went back and thought of everything I ate over the last week and it has been worse than I realized. I still typically get a big bump from regular exercise when I go a while without doing it and it had been about 6 weeks without. Need to get back to daily logging and being more organized with an…

Thank you all for the information.

I have heard of pro athletes being symptom free and getting back to hard workouts and symptoms coming back but in his case he just went back to school. I'm thinking maybe the reading, writing, and concentration level required for school was what brought the symptoms back.

Thanks for the info so far. Does anyone have any experience with symptoms going away and then coming back?

I lost about 25 pounds from May through mid November and even ran a 5K in Mid November. Since then my "one week break" has turned into about seven and 8 pounds gained. I'm feeling pretty down right now. I am still down 17 pounds since May and over 60 from my highest weight. I have so much work to do though and putting…

Good luck.

I know how you feel. I lost 25 pounds from may-november and even ran a 5k in the middle of November. Since then Ive fallen off the wagon and gained back 8 pounds. I have been telling myself come new years I would get things together, since then its been tomorrow, tomorrow. Its not easy.

Good luck today

Google couch to 5K and utilize the program, it really works. I am currently somewhere between 230-235 lbs. About 5 years ago I was 308 lbs. The only exercise that I could do comfortably until I got down to about 240 was walking. I was 240 when I started the C25K program 2 months ago. I just ran my first 5K this past sunday…

That was very poetic :)

Felt great yesterday all day and night after the race. Woke up today feeling like my legs went through hell. Planning to get back on the treadmill this weekend though. Thanks again.

Just got home. I was able to run the entire race without stopping. I ran it in just over 35 minutes, which was about 2 minutes faster than my best time during training. The first mile I set a pretty easy pace and just kind of got my legs and breathing going. The second mile I picked up the pace considerably, maybe a little…

Good luck training for your half marathon.

 Thanks

Thank you, I will let you know if I decide to continue doing this.

Thank you all so much for the advice. Just hearing from all of you is making me feel better and more confident about doing this. I kind of needed that so I appreciate it.
