It is really much easier than you think! I carry around a gallon at a time and take several chugs at a time and make sure I drink at least 16 ounces with every meal which is six times a day!

I am two weeks and and will water load next week ( gallon measurements from one to one and one half on different days), Ive never heard of salt- loading; will cut salt 24-36 hours prior to competition or you will cramp and peak to soon.

cut out all fruit, complex carbs in your diet and water load before seminar for about 3 days. You should already be doing HiiT regualarly anyway, right? Adding the cardio was smart too.

It all depends on "what" you are eating, not just calories. Much of your calorie intake could be "empty" calories. Are you eating "clean" and reading labels for high fructose syrup, saturated fats, and trans fats? These are all key to your BMR and diet.

I am ten weeks out from my competition and am on a low carb, high protein diet, basically clean eating and 1400 calories a day for the next two weeks.
