For me personally it's because I have developed a new love for running and I 'm not ready to give it up. I started out on the elliptical and lost a lot of my weight there, but it eventually got old. I downloaded the C25K app and finally worked myself up to running a mile straight, so now I find it hard to stop. I love the…

I tried pushing through the pain of shin splints until I couldnt take it anymore. I decided to stop all activity for two weeks to give them a break and then tried to run on week three... Felt good, no pain. Went back 2 days later and tried to run again and OUCH. So I laid off of it for another two weeks. Same thing…

I stay pretty low on carbs and I live on eggs, chicken, fruits, veggies, and salmon.
-
Bloating. Which is why I have reduced my carb/sodium intake and it has helped the "bloated" feeling. Granted I still love my carbs, but once again, moderation, and maybe even a little less in order not to feel so ugk.

I know the feeling. I can tell the most difference in my chest since I've started losing.... Booooooooooooooooo  But they're still "big" as of right now, so life shall continue to go on for me.. And if they shrink, hello implants!

I just recovered from shin splints and it took me 2 weeks rest in order to get rid of the pain. I have definately learned that rest days are a MUST and not to overload too fast!

I used to always bite my nails... The first time I stopped is when I got intestinal worms (gross I know).. Then I started back a few months in thinking it would never happen again... and it didnt, because a few years after I graduated high school and college, I finally realized how nasty it was and MADE myself stop. Its…

Out of curiousity is this another Dr Oz fad..? I've lost all faith in him. I think he is hyping all of these products up for a bigger paycheck. But anyways, I agree with whoever posted that if your not looking for a "miracle" pill and are exercising and eating healthy, then try it...... just dont take them with the…

In the mens lockeroom in my gym all of the men walk around and sit in the hot tub naked (so my husband says) so I would NEVER consider walking in there to get my husband. I will call his phone 10000 times before I ever walk in there to get him because that is the mens private area to do what they want and walk "freely"…

Lets call it what is it. We *obviously* should not eat sugar by the tablespoons..... We should be moderate in our decisions, even if it is once a day, that is someones personal decision... If it IS working for them then so be it! Now lets drink and be merry :drinker:

I'm in this boat... 5'7" started at size 12/14 170-175 pounds. (20 pounds down) now a strong 12. My goal is size 8 and goal weight is 135-140.

Hey thanks... It has been a VERRY happy birthday... Chocolate peanut clusters, chocolate covered oreo, and chocolate covered strawberries... WOOHOO!
-
I am today solely for the reason that it is my birthday and I want a cheat day. ETA That means that I will be working out extra HARD tomorrow.
-
Its probably just water retention. Weighing everyday will absolutely drive you nuts with your bodys natural water fluctuation.
-
I eat it with peanut butter and I am STUFFED after.

I know that I eat way too fast, especially when I'm eating by myself, and I'm not really sure how to slow down. When I'm with people I don't eat because I can't stop talking, but other then that I'm SOL.

I started out on the elliptical, lost about 10-15. I finally didn't feel like I was gettinga good burn and so I started running.. Love it! I can feel a huge difference in the burn now.

I was getting so tired of chicken so yesterday I decided to change things up and make skewers.. I added peppers, onions, salmon, shrimp, and chicken and used different spices on each that I thought would complement each other.
-
Me too. I *want* to be 135, but realistically 140 with 18-20% body fat would make me happy.

I am on W4D2 and am stuck because I just bought new shoes and they hurt my ankles so now I am a step back. Getting in the right shoes does make all the difference... Now its just finding the right pair!
-
I've been eating fruits, veggies, fish, eggs, chicken, turkey and nuts as a "clean" diet... Now that I have been doing it for a month its starting to seem pretty limiting as far as variety.
-
I do it on the treadmill so I have a better idea of what to log.. I'm not accountable if I run outside.
-
I'm listening to this song right now, its getting me through my DAY.

That is a big difference! Congrats on your success! :flowerforyou:

Unfortunately where I live we dont have specialty stores. We have your typical Foot Locker, Finish Line, Journeys ect. I mostly run on the treadmill because right now it is so hot outside, but when it cools off I plan to start running outside and eventually do a 5K. If there is a shoe that is good for both that would be…

Agreed. We had breakfast burritos in the morning, and then I had a hamburger patty, boiled shrimp, corn on the cob, and worst---fried hushpuppies... I havent had anything that greasy in awhile andI only ate one hushpuppy but MAN did it upset my stomach.
-
My goals are the same as yours. I am on w2d3 with the c25k. I typically only put the treadmill at 4.5 because I am trying to build up a tolerance for running. A lot of the people at my gym run faster but I dont pay them any mind-they have been running for a long time and their good and I look at them and hope to be like…

Good to know-that makes me excited! Thanks!
