Measuring your body fat may be a better indicator to when you can expect to see a flat stomach vs weight loss. "To reveal abdominal definition, and possibly a six-pack, most men need to achieve a body fat percentage of six to nine percent; women need to reach 16 to 19 percent body fat." From a Livestrong site. I've seen…

And you kept smiling the whole time. Good job!

Congrats on your transformation. Just meat and cheese! Outside of the Keto-flu, anything else you encounter that people should look for?

Seems to me that perhaps you weren't eating enough. If you ate the 900 calories that MFP suggested and then exercised on top of that, you may have been in too much of a calorie deficit. Eat more to offset the exercises.

It's a struggle no doubt but it will feel great once you overcome them. Good luck with everything!

Congrats! Motivating..

Keep the big goal in mind but set the little goals. When you reach each little goal, you get to celebrate and/or be rewarded WAY more often. We like to be rewarded by achieving something and it feels good. Keep shooting for those little goals.

Congrats! Great job and thanks for sharing.

Congrats on your success. That's a pretty intense exercise schedule. I need to get back into the swing of things myself. Keep up the good work!

I appreciate the comments. Been on the site and forum for what seems like forever. I always welcome different views and opinions than my own so was curious. Thanks. I ate like a pig yesterday, hence my question. And it wasn't perfect nutrition but still. I know better. ;-)

Good job! Always take the before and after pics. It can give you motivation to see how far you have come. Keep it up!

**Zombie Thread** Old thread, I know. No sense making a new one. Been on Soylent for a while. Very convenient. Only meal I eat during the day is dinner with the wife/family. Other than that, if I'm working nightshift, weekends, holidays and am unable to be around friends and family due to work, I drink a full days worth of…

Wasteline and Abs! Absolutely! This area seems to be the last one hit every time I am losing weight. I know when the waste shrinks, the abs start forming and especially the sides sinking in, everywhere else has already fallen in place.

Yes and Yes! Soylent to be specific.

I just ordered a monthly subscription of bottles. Seems the wait now is a lot less than before. Seems like the perfect meal for me. Sucks on a social level whereas you do Soylent while friends and family are eating normal meals, especially times like Thanksgiving, Xmas, etc. Eat like everyone else in times like this. My…

Looks to me that the OP wasn't asking anyone for an opinion about her situation. She was simply venting. She asked, "Has anyone else encountered this problem with friends and family?" To answer your question, I have not. Trying not to anyway but feeling like this does come across when working with my wife since she's…

There's not a ton of difference. I'd eat either. http://www.livestrong.com/article/381241-nutritional-values-of-white-rice-vs-brown-rice/

Yeah...I came back too and I don't even know why. :D It is a confidence boost since my weight has flatlined for a few days. Anything and everything helps. Carry-on!

You are incredible! I'm blown away. Keep up the good work.
