I had told you in my previous post that I had an injury in my Marathon...I got a bad case of (sorry for the spelling guess) Plantar fasciitis ...the longest training run I got up to was 17 but then had 4 weeks left before the run and was told no more training runs. I cycled instead to keep up my fitness and had PT on my…

I ran my first a few years ago! It is an amazing experience and I am so so so glad I did it! I am not a great runner and ended up with an injury but got through it!! I TOTALLY understand the runners burn out you are experiencing! I think as you are training and the mile increase it gets to be such a drag and you don't…

So.......How did you both do????? :0)

Great news that you are running your first official run, you will love it! I don't think you need to worry about it too much, once you get to half or full marathons then you need to worry more about fuelling ...(and that can be you one day)!! Eat something light an hour before, not too much and stay hydrated...after the…

Got in trouble last time I commented on this but I have to say after watching the Olympics and seeing all these amazing fit FIT bodies (I am a HUGE fan of the human form!) and was sooooo happy to see that few of these athletes have RUINED the look of their physique but plastering stupid tattoos all over them...sorry, just…

Im a 48 year old female and for me, I made significant changes when I ate much less (not none) wheat and sugar!! I do believe we must have carbs especially when you work out!! I just happen to chose oats and brown rice and those types of carbs!! I don't say "never" to any food but I sure do say "very rarely"! It does…

I was 16 lbs (1stone 2) overweight for years...I was fit though as I have always worked out! For me the biggest surprise was uncovering the muscle that was under the blob!! I never dreamed that at 48 I would have the most fit, toned body of my life!! Get the fat off and reveal what is under there!!!!!

I love it uncooked...put in bowl pour milk over and add dried fruit (I love blueberries and cherries) and chopped nuts...I eat it every day and love it!!!!! Makes not difference if you cook or eat raw ..up to you!!! (by the way, it's one of the HEALTHIEST breakfasts you can eat and it keeps you full for hours!!!!)

Really don't like them (tried not to say "hate") and to be honest I think they are soooo yesterday!!!! Sorry!!! I'm watching the Olympic gymnastics (and earlier the diving) and their bodies are soooo beautiful...then every once and a while one will have a tattoo and it looks terrible...like scribbling on a perfect…

Stay busy and vary your workouts!! I stayed motivated because the more I lost and then the more toned I got the sexier I felt!! I didn't think my body could get lean and toned like it is now, very exciting!! I also hear the ladies at work all talking about how fat they feel and yet they never exercise...I feel so young to…

Live in England (I'm American) so I love London but I also LOVE France!! As far as the big cities go, they are both great fun with so much to see but if you go make sure you get out to the country as well...stunning!!! (English countryside better I think but French food is so yummy!!) Do both!!!!!!!!!

My background is in Dentistry and my experience has been that it is STRESS that brings them out!! As far as nutrition goes, try taking 1000-2000mg of vit C!!! It works well!! Getting vit C through food when you have mouth sores is not advisable as you can imagine how uncomfortable it would be to eat an orange or tomatoe…

I'm From Amarica and LOVE the cottage cheese there but now live in England and it tastes completely different here!! I still like it but not as much (it is sort of sour here). Its the first thing I buy to eat when I go back home! Love it with beets...and lots of other ways!!! Yummy on rivita crackers with pepper too…

One of THE most perfect foods!! I eat a half an avocado almost every day!!! Love it just sliced with a small sprinkle of salt and some chopped cilantro. Love it on any and all salads. Love it mashed and spread in a sandwich (but don't eat bread now but recommend it to this that do). Great in omlets. Mix in a blender with…

Didn't know it had a name for it...I think it's just common sense!! Give your body what it wants so you can exercise well and get to the weight your body should be at which happens to make you feel and look great. Chemicals and processed crap doesn't really have a place! 80/20 makes sense as we are human and I sure like…

Now THAT'S what it's all about!!! Slow steady and healthy! You have learned a life lesson that you will carry throughout your life and pass on to children (if you have them now or one day) You look great because you are at goal weight yes, but mainly because you look HEALTHY and toned!!!! What a great story.... I'm smiling…

Great show...such important info to get out to the public! I'm American but live in the UK and it did make me angry how they hurried this info years ago (damn politicians)!! Also thought the hormone issue was so important!! No wonder the processed food eaters never feel full and just keep snacking!!!! Now it's up to us to…
