I also hated plain Greek yogurt until I started thinking of it like a better version of sour cream. I put it on anything you would have used sour cream for. Then I finally found that honey made it taste sweet and delicious... mmmm even better with berries

Woohooo! Just completed W4D1. I was nervous since my knee has been swollen and tight since I overdid it 2 days ago on W3D3. Today I kept my pace nice and slow, tried to take short strides because I read that is lower impact and I stopped when she said to (listen to the British Podcast C25K). So far my knee feels good and I…

I hope the new strategy worked/ works for you.

You are an amazing storyteller! The way you handled the garlic bread was awesome. I find two valuable points in this; 1. I think you were partially able to resist the dreaded GB because you were allowing yourself to eat pizza and not just the salad. I think it is important for all of us to find room in our day/ week/ month…

My husband and I named our daughter Ezri after Ezri Dax in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. We freely share the origin when asked.

Just went a Wellness/ Weight Management session today and the topic was sleep and stress. The instructor said that when we're stressed we need to try to up our serotonin levels and the things she listed that increases this hormone are many of the things everyone already said; exposure to sunlight and being in nature,…

Maybe try switching it up. Bring a few of those "naughty" snack to work in a portioned control bag and save the healthy snack for when you walk in the door. This way you can satisfy the need to eat as soon as you get home. It also might lead to you being able to eventually switch back to something healthy at work in time.…

I'm still finishing up week 3 also. My run yesterday was great. I even did an extra 3 minute run at the end. My knee feels a little tight today so I been trying to get some walking in too.

You look awesome! Congrats on maintaining! Thank you for sharing.

Completed Week 3 Day 1 - behind schedule due to vacation. I've lost my training partner daughter but hoping she will come back to it. The 3 minutes of "running" weren't as bad as I thought they would be.

I agree that 90 seconds seemed much longer than 60 seconds. But I did it, and that felt great. My partner/ daughter came down with an unrelated illness so I hope she gets back into it.

Hello All - I started week 1 day 1 with my 13 year old yesterday. She wanted to quit in the first minute but she pressed through and admitted it felt good after. We even were able to "race" after the walking cool down and she beat me! Not sure our schedule will be yet but it will be at least one weekend day. I have been…

Awesome! That is my biggest goal, to keep the weight off and maintain an exercise plan. Thanks for the inspiration :)

Just donated today. I had 2 eggs and toast 4 breakfast. No problems. I didn't eat cookies or drink the juice because I went right before lunch.

When I first read your post I was instantly reminded of my experience of being clinically depressed which started after my father's death when I was a teen. The idea that everything is going well in my life but why am I still so sad and doing self-destructive things. Then I checked your profile and read about your late…

I think its safe to say you have made this your lifestyle. WAY TO GO!

On another topic someone posted this article. http://health.yahoo.net/experts/dayinhealth/7-fitness-rules-you-should-break and the very last "myth" is that custom orthopedics are better for you. It stated that off-the shelf versions may actually be better. Which holds true to what I and BerryH said previously.

It is tough! I did workout 1 for the first time yesterday. I was sweating (my HRM said I was in the 90% range...) and had to rest but glad I did what I could. Not sure I will be doing it every day but glad I have something different to throw in to the mix. I really like that its so short because I am not a morning person…

I had this for what seemed like forever. I finally got so bad that I switched to wearing only new sneakers and then went to WalMart and tried the Dr. Schol's kiosk. You stand on it and do a few simple balance tests then it spit out a recommendation for the right shoe insert. I'm happy to report that I have been painfree…

might have to try this as my first MFP/ skinnytastes recipe.
