  • When I get stuck, I always seem to start losing again when I start lifting weights more. Also, you mentioned you don't eat calories you burn from working out? Give that a try. When I'm not eating enough calories, I stop losing too.
  • I can eat 3000 cal and still feel hungry.

  • I've been here almost a year and have lost about 50 lbs!! BUT I still have 50 lbs to go! However, I've been horrible about using the site's full potential..... I need friends too. Feel free to add me as well!!
  • I have a beautiful curvey body, but no breast :-( It just doesn't look right. Clothes do not fit well! I LOVE my body, big or small, fat or round, tanned or pale.... but I WILL at one point in my life be getting breast implants. For me it'll be when I drop below 200lbs (30 more to go) and have an extra 10k (haha, one day…
  • If you are breastfeeding you don't want to reduce your calories too much. If I were you, I'd try increasing your cal/day by a little, like 2000, and don't count the cals burned for breastfeeding. Then as long as you are counting to lose weight and don't have a decrease in your milk production, ignore that message!!!
  • When you consider alllllll the places you could be going out to eat, The Melting Pot is a pretty good choice!! Fresh veggies, meat that's not battered/fried, and you could just go light on the amount of bread and cheese! Don't skip the alcohol, lots of "cheers" to you...... Congrats on graduating!!!!

  • I have the same problem; the cracking/popping/crunchy sound being from arthritis cause by being overweight for all these YEARS (all 28 of them!). The cartilage in my knees have suffered :-( I've always felt the elliptical was EVIL!!! What works for me is using my tredmil, but set to the highest incline that I can handle…
  • is it only Sexy Man..... what about Average Man.... think it has less or more Cals?
  • I've found that over the years the shyness (fear?) subsides. I'm guessing this fear isn't just about talking to men??? May it also be bosses at work or professors at school? The best thing to do is to work on feeling more confident about who you are as a person.... and this will become easier for you! In the mean time,…
  • are you going over your sodium a lot? If it's not an issue and since your body only NEEDS 500mg of sodium a day, leave the sodium info as is!!! Who cause if you're recording more then you are actually eating (in regards to sodium)... you'll be way under your allotment thinking you're intaking more then you are ;-)
  • I'm sorry for your lose :-( I say, weigh yourself!!! You might be surprised! Either way, what you ate is what you ate... and it's not a big deal! About one day a month, I have a day where I'm outta control! I'm still losing weight regardless. I even think it's HELPING me... I like the break... I like having a day NOT to…
  • I used to weigh weekly, but then had a few weeks with no change. So then I started to weigh (and record) daily. I perfer the daily weigh now! Knowing that weight fluctuates, I get less frustrated when I have a gain.... and more excited with a loss. When I look at the progress graph, I see the up-down-up jig saw of my…
  • I heard <insert name> doesn't was her/his hands before baking!!!
  • same story... kinda :-) I was 16 years old and 250lbs when I got pregnant with my 1st child. At the end of my pregnancy I weighed 300lbs. My life story gets WAY more complicated; at 19 years old I had my 2nd child and my husband was battling cancer (he passed away a few years later). After our second child was born, I lost…
  • Ice cream all the way!!!! The best way to stop at just 1/2 cup of ice cream is to put it on top of a Kebler cake cone (15 cals for the cone)!!!
  • as you lose weight, it'll be less poofy!
  • Packing my lunch for tomorrow!! With this "Super Moon" about, I KNOW I won't have time to eat at work tomorrow (I'm a L&D nurse)... sooo, I plan every calorie before I step foot out my door.... leaves zero room for bad choices!
  • I was going to post the same question!!! This is my 1st period since having my last baby (10 months ago)... and my 1st period while doing weekly weight-ins, so I wasn't sure! I'll know monday what the verdict is for me!

  • I bought one way back when they 1st came out.... and it is now burried some where in the garage. I don't miss it. I'm not sure if they are any different now, but I always thought the pan that caught the grease was gross.... the whole machine was hard to clean... cluttered my counter... and smelled funny.
  • I might be on level 1 for the whole 30 days..... mine's going to be a 90 day shred *bangs head on desk*
  • Frustration was probably one the the driving factors that helped you lose the 1st 50 lbs! Use that frustration now to make the changes you need to. You know what you have to do.... now get to doing it!!!! BTW, I like your hair!
  • make sure you report back how it went! :-) Lucky for me, I get to work that day!
