Congratulations on your success and your recovery, and on your beautiful baby girl. :) So happy for you.

Right?? Exactly my thought...
-
Nope!!

I am with the OP, I would do whatever I could if the dog or cat would be able to live a happy life. They are family.
-
Yep, we all will be...

I feel for you! I had the same problem. I go workout after I get off work, so it does take some time away from her. How many evenings do you go? My first thought is you need to take care of yourself first, so they have a healthy mom! And just make sure you make the time you do have with them count.

Wow, I've never heard of a minimum number of sessions. Most gyms (including mine now) will give you as many as you want. Maybe you can contact another gym and see what they offer? My schedule is crazy, too, so I couldn't set a time in advance, but I do 20-30 min cardio and about 30 minutes of weights, bosu, etc. I just…

+1. Just amazing.

I made this the other day... chocolate zucchini bread. I was amazed. It was better than chocolate cake! You can use it for cupcakes as well, so moist and delicious!! You can substitute the oil for applesauce like someone else mentioned. Try it! http://www.sliceoffeist.com/2010/08/very-grateful/

This. The advice about telling him to fend for himself is kind of sad. You are married... that doesn't mean that you should stress over cooking 2 meals, but it does mean that you are in it together. Talk to him... see what he would be happy with while making it easier on you. He REALLY needs to be more understanding of…

I really like the Luna fiber bars. They have 7g of fiber and are like a dessert for me.

I only have one - a 2 year old - and work full time, and I know how crazy the schedule can be! For me, it seems like there is no time for anything else, so I can imagine how busy you must be!

Everyone has different opinions about carbs. Personally, I do think 200g is too high. I stay around 100g (I'm 5'7). I decided to try to incorporate more carbs back in and it just didn't work for me. Everyone is different.

lol... 45 is old? wow.

I'm usually not the one to say dump him, but ... dump him. Thankfully you aren't married to him, and you don't have to put up with that. If he has no problems being rude to you about that, what else is he telling you? He doesn't deserve you... find someone who does!
-
Probably is? You figured that out from a story with absolutely no facts? Whatever you say!!
-
They are, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Totally worth it.

My boy, Dexter (in my profile pic) is a 7 or 8 year old rescued American Bulldog, we've had him for 5 years and he is awesome. I also have 2 16-year-old cats who are brother and sister that are my babies.

Welcome! Feel free to add me if you'd like.

I switched to lifting heavy and less cardio and I'm the same size (maybe a little smaller) and about 14lbs up! I feel the same way, I don't like the number so much, but I like the results.

Yep!! I love it when my family asks me to make something, and I like making it for them. It's not like it's an insult. People can be so overly sensitive!
-
No kidding!! Man, I hope she doesn't think everyone is that rude!!

I am up early to get breakfast and lunch for my daughter ready, get to work, gym immediately after, home by 6:30... I either know what I am going to cook or I have something in the slow cooker ready when I walk in. It's definitely hard work, but you can do it!
-
Whew! Same here... I'm 37 and I have a 2 year old and I'm not an older mom!! :)

Humans are not designed to drink all the chemicals that are in the milk you buy in the store, that's the trick.
-
I don't understand why people are avoiding real milk unless you are lactose intolerant. Giving up the calories also gives up the protein, not worth it to me.

My long-lost twin!! :)

Also, 1200 calories is not enough, especially if you are doing cardio and weights!
