Depends if you are burning any calories or not. I usually eat around 1500/per day and burn an excess of 3500 a week to see a 1 pound weight loss per week. So far it seems to be working, 7 pounds gone and counting. Good Luck!!

anyone???

Just depends. Sometimes a cereal bar, sometimes fruit and sometimes just a bowl of cereal. Whatever sounds good that day I guess.

Don't worry too muchh about bulking, girls do not bulk up as much has guys do. I would focus on the cardio for weight loss and do some strength training for the lean muscle. That's what I started doing about 2 weeks ago. I haven't lost any weight or inches yet but I can see a difference in the way my body is carrying the…

I boughht my bf a weighth bench and it's just sitting in the basement. I am not sure how to even use it and cannot afford a gym membership. I know how to bench press and do curls but do not know how that is going to help me withh my stomach and hips.

would absolutely love for my stomach to look like that, and so would my boyfriend I bet!

so my every other day regimen of crunches, girl push ups, squats and leg lifts won't cut it then?

I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks (sometimes 3 if I'm hungry after dinner still). I have 1200 calories a day and do an hour of cardio atleast 3 times per week. I will try to eat back most of my calories but I am so full on the days I work out because I feel like I just eat all day long to try to get those…

Thanks for all the information and motivation. This helps and explains a lot. I am 5'6" and currently weigh 160lbs. I would like to get back down to around 130/135. I would eat nothing all day besides coffee and just eat dinner with my family in the evenings. And that probably slowed my metabolism way down. But since I…

same here, that is what i am confused about too. mpf calculated my calorie intake at 1200 and my bmr is 1477
-
Wow, good for you, that's great!! I guess that I'll stick with it and eat more food then : )
-
Just used the tool mfp provides for the bmr and it says, Your estimated BMR is: 1,477 calories/day*. So I should be eating this calorie count and not the 1200?
-
Wow, I was thinking all wrong then. Thanks for the information. I just assumed that you had to keep it under the 1200 and then anything else burnt off from cardio was good. But I didn't know about eating back calories. I feel like that's all I do all day now is eat.
-
Really? Eat them back? I thought the point was to burn the calories you are eating so that you don't have a big calorie count for the day. Maybe I just am not getting this at all!?!
