Hey there, fellow vegan here. I have been living a vegan lifestyle around 5 months now and have actually gained weight. BUT I have not focused on many simple, natural recipes and have instead been eating a lot of baked goods (even vegan baked goods are apparently not good for weight loss, lol!). My goal is to stick to a…

I haven't completely missed a cycle, but it did go out of whack for a bit when I first started. I am normally 28 days on the dot, and when I started keto it came 5 days early. I've heard from other members that this can happen sometimes.

Actually, Advocare recommends eating a clean diet...which is totally sustainable. Meal replacement shakes are offered, but not required.

I used a wrap right after I had my daughter two years ago. While I didn't lose any inches, it did significantly help the horrid stretch marks I had (i.e. They were purple, and a day or so after I used the wrap they were slightly pink.)

LOL! Love it!!! Maybe one day I'll be called a MILF instead of the fat friend!

This is awesome! I am currently doing a 30 Day Squat challenge (I'm on Day 16) and was thinking about doing the Ab & Squat challenge for my next challenge. This has definitely motivated me to do that!

Great job! You look amazing!

^ I cannot stop laughing.

Also, I should note I gained the weight I am trying to lose now through pregnancy. Like, a ton of weight. A TON OF IT.

While I agree with this to an extent, I kind of feel like I do not fit the norm. I have been on MFP for a few years now. Back in 2011, I lost about 30 pounds with MFP. I didn't reach my goal weight, but I was happy with myself. I have ALWAYS struggled with my weight, so basically it weighs on me daily (no pun intended).…

I just registered for the Atlanta Spartan Sprint in March and this information is very helpful. Thanks!

Nope, but I would if I had the chance!

I currently attend WW meetings but do not follow the WW plan- I simply count calories. It is MUCH easier to me to count calories than it is to calculate points. I only attend the meetings in an attempt to make friends who have similar interests as me (which, really, is losing weight and being healthy) and to keep myself…

Simple: Just go.

I have lost 60 but still have about 50 to go!

I was stuck at a plateau for several months. The cure for me was increasing my calories.

I don't eat mine back.

Coffee generally lessens my hunger. I think mostly mine is boredom or the feeling of needing to have something in my mouth (go on and get the dirty jokes out of the way, trolls)...and coffee helps control that.

Machines and MFP almost always overestimate the amount of calories burned, which is why I don't eat back my exercise calories. There are some days I go over, but I always try to get a workout in to make the "sting" less of a sting. LOL I also agree with another poster that 6 lbs is not "nothing". I have been at a plateau…

Would you mind me asking what you are eating? I know you said 1,300 calories, but specifically what types of food? I am reading "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman after being stuck at a plateau for almost 5 months and am seeing now why certain foods have kept me at the weight I am at. Don't stop working at it- this is a process…

Welcome to MFP! I can tell you from experience that MFP works. I have used it for several years and am now losing weight again after pregnancy. You will find a lot of support here.

If you've only been on the site for a few days, don't let the haters push you away. If you truly wish to find something that suits you better, by all means do so, but just know there is the option to change your macros and count the carbs. I did it for a while but found it easier for me to do low calorie. Best of luck in…

This is just amazing. I love it!
