hi all! I am interested other with similar goals too! i am 17 weeks pregnant in my profile, i am currently 19 weeks. I am logging my food at 1800-1900 cals, logging my steps though my fitbit flex and trying to do 4-5 days a week of 30 mins of prenatal workouts.

Doctors advice is to keep hr low and keep low intensity and no lifting, even moderate weight. . Doctor does not advise to do nothing if I feel fit and able. I'm looking for people who have gone through it and what they felt comfortable with. Yoga and walking as I have previously stated but I'm looking for other ideas.

My only way is low carb/high protein and working out 5 days a week!! Diet is the key!! I have a sweet tooth and try to work around that.. Quest bars have been a Saviour!'

I have a fairly strong stomach and can take exercising after eating but alot of people cant, maybe try on an empty stomach or else leave more time before exercising after eating.. worth a try!!

Thanks for all good advice!! I'll stick with it for another couple of weeks and re-assess then. My original post maybe was confusing.. I got to goal weight but ended up gaining as I got bored with what I was doing and lost interest!!

ok thanks for advice!! i think i get it!! Im gonna keep up weight training in the long run but just wondered if i should just stick to cardio till im where i want to be, then go for the toned look through weights? im thinking a month at most to hold off?

thanks for all the replies.. my perception from the feedback is that perhaps wii zumba is not for me, but I have only heard good things about the DVDS!! I work evenings so all Zumba classes are on when im working so i thought the dvds would be a good option for an alternative workout!! Thanks for the feedback!!

I only burn 500 max on any phase 2 workout.. that one is the 60 min max interval.. on the 48 min cardio conditioning today i only burned 350... ;-( .. my hr returns immediately to 100 once i stop, even for water.. dissadvantage of having a good resting heart rate i guess..

I floow the same as most people above.. I eat 30-60 mins before a workout and within 30mins after a workout. I went through a week or so when i left it later to eat after a workout but still within 3 hours of eating last.. but i was then starving for the day!!! so it doesnt pay!!
