Hi there. First, I am so sorry for your loss. Having been through 2 miscarriages, I totally understand the pain and anguish. Good for you that you are taking the first steps towards a healthier you! That 14 pound loss is AMAZING! And walking is the best exercise to start off with. Feel free to add me as a friend. You can…

This is the reason I use a Fitbit (or HRM). They are far more accurate.

Hi there - I'm a newbie to this thread although I've been with MFP for 520 days. I'm going to be 50 in 13 days :noway: :noway: :noway: so I figured I would say hello  . I've lost just over 60 pounds in my time with MFP and I can honestly say that I am in better shape now (at 49 7/8) than I was in my 20's. I hope…

You look great!! And, in such a short time. Nice job!

Everyday. Because I need to know.

I eat about 1200 - give or take. I eat lots of protein and usually, not too many carbs. The protein really fills me up. During the week, I am really busy and work so I end up eating lots of protein bars which are quick and satisfying.

I just filled up today at $4.05/gallon. Unfortunately, I have no choice as I commute about 50 miles a day back and forth to work.

I love my greek yogurt in the AM. On workout days, I will add some nuts in as well.

Love them! Cookies and Cream are AWESOME!!!! My second favorite is Cookie Dough.

I'm in a similar situation. In the last year, I've been totally focused on working out and being as healthy as I can be. On the other hand, my husband has gone the opposite direction. He's now about 60 pounds overweight as well, and doesn't really care to do anything about it. He's a stay at home dad (kids are 10 and 12),…

I haven't read all the responses, so forgive me it this has already been mentioned. I involve my kids in the meal prep. They get to make suggestions on what to eat and then we shop together. I have some healthy kid friendly cookbooks so they look through those and get some ideas. They may not ultimately eat what they…

When I've had my binges, I try to at least log a rough estimate. It won't be totally accurate, but I try. Then, just put it behind you and move on. Sometimes I can look back and see what the trigger was, but not always. The important thing is to put it past you and have a regular day.

I love my flex. I echo what others have said about being unaware of how little i was moving. Also, I like that my calories on MFP automatically adjust based on how active (or inactive) I am.

Agree with boobs and warmth!! But, it's a small price to pay :ohwell:
-
Wow, you look great!!

I don't know, but I am right there with you! I had the heated seat on in the car and it's 72 degrees. Crazy!
-
Geez, if that were the case I should have ZERO friends
-
That is sooooo cool!! Congratulations!

I graduated HS at about 150 and graduated college at 178. I'm now maintaining at 117 and happier than ever!
-
What an awesome post!! Congratulations!
-
Just beautiful.
-
In because I want to see where this goes
-
Congratulations! You look awesome!

Everyone looks great!! I don't have any pics, but I started out at 178. I'm 118 now and just trying to tone up what's left.
-
Well, I'm not sure you will want to read this, but at 49 I still struggle with this every day. I look at myself in the mirror daily and can't see the positives. I'm currently 118 pounds and people tell me that I have nice muscle tone, but honestly, I don't see it. For me, it's gotten a little more difficult as I get older.…

I didn't read all the responses, but you look AWESOME!!! And don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Great job!

I'm another one who feels naked without my Flex. I love not having to thing about logging different activities. I don't worry too much about tracking my sleep, but I do love the alarm feature which wakes me up at 3:30 AM to go to the gym without disturbing my husband!
