I'm 5'0" (51 years old) and I've been told by doctors everything from 149 to 129. Don't think I'll ever see 110 again, but I'd really like to get to 120.

What I eat is my diet. How I eat it is a lifestyle change. So, I guess a bit of both.

I eat a heard boiled egg almost every day as a snack at the suggestion/encouragement of my cardiologist.

I do Weight watchers and I also log on MFP. If I stay within my MFP limits set by my dietitian, it comes out equally well with my Weight Watcher's points.

It is a good idea to not have binge-y foods around and not to buy them in the first place, but it can be hard when they look so good in the store. Try to never go to the store hungry. You'll be more likely to avoid temptation to buy them in the first place.

My reward will be a whole new wardrobe with no guilt. I won't go crazy dollar-wise but if I can afford it, I won't worry about whether or not I NEED it. I also want to take a really nice vacation. Europe (England) is my first choice, but we'll see when to time comes.

Feel free to add me. I also do WW. I go to the meetings, track here and count points. Maybe a bit obsessive, but it keeps my hand out of the cookie jar...usually.

I found that if I do what I enjoy, then I'll keep coming back. Do the cardio and resistance (weights) that you think you would enjoy, but if you find that you don't like something, don't hesitate to swap for a different type of exercise (cardio for cardio, one machine for another).
