I am insulin resistant too...I try to keep mine at 125 each day..It really hasn't been a problem..You just have to make smart food choices...Takes me a little longer in the grocery store since I have to read all of the labels.

My dietitian recommended 125 carbs a day for me. You have way too few..Healthy carbs are good because the sugar that you get from them is what fuels your body.. ( I learned that last night at my insulin class...lol).

I have to do low carb because I am insulin resistant. The first few days I had the same problem, but I soon realized that if I wasnt consuming enough calories, then I wasn't going to lose. I noticed that you are eating alot of carbs. I am insulin resistant and have to keep mine around 125. (this depends on your weight). I would try cutting back on them. Feel free to check my diary.

I am insulin resistant so I have to follow a low carb diet. I stay around 125 for my weight. Feel free to look at my diary. Not sure what you are eating, but watch the fruit and corn, peas and potatoes are good to stay away from too.

I too have the same problem. Just found out I insulin resistant, so I have to follow a low carb diet. I am trying to stay at 1250 calories. My problem is that I am having trouble getting enough calories. So I am looking for higher calorie-low carb foods to help.
