I am adding you, I am trying my best to lose the last 15 pounds from baby #2. It is tough but we can do it!

I have 2 of these, currently on maternity leave for 18 months, and the best gift somebody could do is to take the kids for a few hours. An easy way is to steal the kids to a show in town, some events or a movie they like. It is disguised babysitting so it goes better with the parents ;) you could maybe include tickets for…

my friend was in martial arts and needed to lose a pound to fight in the lighter weight category so she cut her ponytail in her hotel room! Is a drastic hair cut something you could consider? Make sure they let you strip as much as modesty allows, clothes weighs a lot, remove jewelry if you wear any. other than that, there…

There are many delicious low fat cheese, they are not all skinny versions like the 4% cheddar, some are regular low fat cheese to dip or spread on vegetable or crackers. Look at the labels, you may discover new products too :) Another option is to eat sardines with bones for a very rich source of calcium, iron and protein…

I had a quick look at your profile where you say your daughter is 11 years old. I would take her to the city library to look at some nutrition books in the children's section. Ask the librarian to help you locate some. It's going to help her in all her future papers as well to learn how to locate information. Have fun…

ask a clerk, and if the store doesn't carry it, ask them to order some for you :)

invite guests and make some delicious custard or creme brûlée for the crowd. They are much easier to make than it sounds :)

shoveling is quite a workout in itself

It happened to me twice and both times the doctor told me to avoid walking on it (no cheating, very imp) and prescribed Naproxen for a week (it was a prescription drug here until recently) 3x/day with an initial high dose to get started right away. Worked like a miracle, and the pain never came back in more than 10 years.…

there are many lists of potassium-rich food available online. I also use salt that contains potassium. I use it for cooking instead of regular salt.

our food cannot be bad over here, it's frozen solid at -40 in perpetuity!

that can be fixed with a few weeks of drawing classes, also technical drawing is not the same as artistic drawing. Go for it!!

I cook them in the pan with some Chicken for Montréal spices and then we eat then in half pita breads with lots of lettuce and tomatoes. Sometime I cover them with Italian seasoned bread crumbs and serve with barley risotto and vegetables or again in pita.

This is a poisonous story in the making...

I don't know which city you are in but if it's as cold as where I live (Canadian Prairies) you may want to look into hunting boots. I got a pair and they are good for -40 C. I paid them 30$. They are black, they look like rubber boots that go up to the knees. My coat goes down to my ankle so my outdoor look is not a big…

or repeat this 2-3 times, with or without variations, if going outside is not possible

the site I use for my meal plan has a section for $1 recipes and less. It changes every week. http://www.soscuisine.com/?sos_l=en I buy a lot in the discounted bins. After a while if you go every day to check at the store, you'll know on what time and day they usually discount produces and you will be able to get first…

tonight I am eating 2 oz of pasta with 1 serving of beef and eggplant stew for around 375-400 cal. Other choices: barley or brown rice, lots of vegetable and a chicken thigh or two egg, bread, cheese and banana sandwiches on thin bread shepherd pie and salad salad with blue cheese, pear and nuts

Start now and you will feel ahead in your plans and get a super positive boost :) happy new year!

My nose bled once and I had nothing beside my clothes, keys and water bottle. At least it was a summer day and many people were outside and one of them had a spare tissue in her purse.

Maybe you can write each of them a nice letter telling how much you love them, make some cookies in a box or write a coupon for a visit to the park or for some other activity together? Even a small Christmas chocolate would probably do. Dollar store crafts or toys are great. Go to the good will stores too, I always find…

I like a lot the recipes from soscuisine.com

you can coat meat and fish in white flour with some spices before cooking them in the pan.

I alternate between : no thank you, I just ate something or, looks delicious but ginger (or whatever) is not my favorite flavor. If they insist, I sometime take one small item "for later" and they are usually happy with that, then I forget to eat it...

Don't go if you don't like it there but find something else you like elsewhere and commit to it. There are group classes with community associations or at the gym, dvd, you tube, fit cards, sports, dancing, etc. Don't be afraid to experiment until you find something that fits with you, try many activities at least once,…

add a spoon of rose water to the seeds and eat them with a spoon!

I found these crispbreads made by Ryvita. They are 30-50 calories per slice depending on the flavor, made with whole grains, and you can put low cal toppings for a very low cal snack. Examples I do: smoked salmon cream cheese (20 cal per 0.5 tbs), double fruit low cal jam (15 cal for one of my serving), a slice of meat,…
