Avoid sweet food. For me this seems to be the biggest determining factor of causing hunger. Typically I'll have eggs & bacon for breakfast (@6am) and coffee w/cream & coconut oil. If I add a little honey to my coffee I'll get hungry around 11am. If I avoid the honey I could easily forget about food until 12-1pm.

Did you mean ketosis or did you really mean ketoacidosis?!?! If one is suffering from ketoacidosis then there are bigger problems than blood ph!

For what its worth I've read that some people with egg intolerances' are actually intolerant to soy. Since the majority of chicken feed contains soy (since it is so cheap from federal subsidies) it makes it's way into the eggs and can cause people problems.

I do dairy fat. and fermented dairy: Butter, cheese, cream, yogurt, kefir, etc. I think the biggest thing with dairy is to make sure you get quality dairy. If you can find fresh, raw, grass fed dairy you should be able to enjoy it with out guilt. Otherwise strive to get the best quality you can. I use the site…

The more successful low-carb diets are High Fat, moderate protein, low carb. High protein diets usually aren't very healthy long term. MsMo, The Primal Blueprint suggests that veggies should be the bulk of the diet by volume and meat should be the bulk of the diet by calories.

I've been trying to avoid soybean oil as it isn't a really healthy oil to be eating. I've actually been making my own mayo and it has turned out really good!
