I suffer from anxiety and am on Abilify. Hang in there, you WILL be okay. Hugs:flowerforyou:

I take both Omega 3 and Vitamin D, and both of them help my cholesterol and give me energy. Most people have a Vit D deficiency, and anyone with high cholesterol could benefit from Omega 3. Generally I feel less depressed, less tired and have more energy. I would recommend taking both!

I have a blog that's unrelated, but I do talk about food: http://istayedthenight.blogspot.com/ It's a review of hotels, mostly in the Chicagoland area. Enjoy!

I have the Mirena IUD as well and I love it! My period has basically disappeared so no more cramps or binge eating with hormone fluctuation. It is safe and I haven't gained any weight since getting it. Previously I was on Aviane pills and I gained weight on those.

If you drink lots of water it should be able to help flush out the sodium. I know it's hard to keep that under, sodium is in everything...

If you like fizz try LaCroix seltzer waters. The flavor is really light but they're super fizzy. I also agree with the steel cut oatmeal suggestion. Any beans are great, too- they fill you up and are high in protein. Good luck!

Chopped salad and tortilla soup from Corner Bakery. It's surprisingly filling.

You definitely can, but it takes longer. If you can just fit in a couple of walks a week you'll keep the scale moving down faster. If not it's OK, just be sure to stick to your calorie goals and eat whole, healthy foods. You're doing great!!!

You can do it! You're already losing on the program so keep building on that success. Way to take control and good luck!

Congrats on your double digit loss! It's nice to see someone get such great results with this tool in a relatively short period of time. I'm counting my calories and will hopefully see the same great results. Good luck & keep it up!

Hi There- I'm new too but I know this is the best place to succeed at losing weight. Just write in your food diary every day and you'll stay on track. Good luck! -redkimono

I allow myself carbs in the AM to keep me going through the day. I find if you limit "bad" carbs after that the weight still comes off.
