Are you measuring your waist, thighs etc?
-
Just eat what you want. No such thing as bad food. Humans have a major evolutionary advantage over other animals, in that we can survive off of almost anything. If you have composition goals and are not just concerned with body weight, then play with your macros. But the food itself does not matter.

I know. I get Jason Aldean and what he's doing, but 'Cruise' wasn't even a step backwards. It was a long fall off a dark cliff.
-
Exactly, she's too old for him.
-
Sure. Time does not exist in the real world. It's a man-made concept that is of no significance to the biological process.
-
This has been debunked over and over again.

Not for nothing but you're 206lbs. 1,380 calories is entirely too low even if you were not working out. If you can tell me you're goal weight I can get a better idea of where to put you. Right now though, you're too low.

Myth & myth...

I have my daily calorie intake set to 2,680 cals. When I eat exactly that, my fat loss is just a tad over 2lbs per week, with no changes in lean weight. When I started hitting the treadmill, I decided to use the machine burn reading to cover any variances. When the machine said I burned 560 cals one day, I entered it and…

If anything, it probably means that the way calorie expenditure is measured, is inaccurate. That was my experience at least. Whenever I use an HRM for calorie burn, it is always WAY higher than the machine I might be working on. So I estimated the burn from the lower machine reading, and plateaued almost immediately. This…

Okay, you're bringing another variable into the equation... SICKNESS. I'm speaking strictly of human physiology. It's obvious that a dysfunctional person would not be operating optimally. What makes me laugh though, is that obese people ALWAYS talk about their metabolic dysfunctions and their "restricted" eating habits.…
-
Well, no not really. Training (specifically strength training) completely changes the way your body HANDLES those calories. You are better off training and eating more than not training and eating less, if you're concerned about body composition.
-
Unless one of us somehow bypassed Evolution and evolved in the last few decades, yes we are.
-
Okay, you need to know your body fat percentage if you want to get EXACT. At least as exact as possible. The higher your body fat, the greater your calorie deficit can be without messing everything up. The LOWER your body fat percentage, the SMALLER your calorie deficit has to be. In other words, you have to eat more. Now…

Because it doesn't matter, if you're already tracking calories. If you look at the nutrient section of the phone app, you will see that all nutrients from scanned labels are tracked, including sugar.
-
But it does lower Testosterone levels in the blood... That's all I need to know.
-
Exactly, just use sugar. It trumps everything on taste. I don't use them because they taste like shoe dirt.
-
Our bodies ARE chemicals.

The new "Seriously?" - God I hate pop culture redundancy.
-
They try to stand out somehow. Daddy issues I guess.

Haha! You goofball!! I love bingeing LIKE an animal. Ever see how lions or wolves eat? They gorge themselves until the entire meal is gone. No different than us, except they don't have an unlimited food supply like we do.
-
You've obviously never been through BUD/S training.
-
I'll tell you an experience I had. It's also the reason I don't do any aerobics directly. By that I mean, our entire existence is aerobic - even as I type this, so I won't get on a treadmill or go for a run. A while back I was eating at a specific deficit, and dropping fat every week in a predictable manner. My strength…

I've read that study before. We know that reducing calories results in weight loss, that's old news. What I'm speaking of is FAT loss. I can sit in a sauna and lose 11 pounds. I've done it. I don't care about weight loss. What I was saying is that if you have excessive insulin levels, for prolonged periods of time, even in…
-
This... The other day I was looking at my nutrients table from scanned foods, and my protein intake was something like 230 grams of protein. It was all from food.
-
That's not necessarily true. If that deficit comes from BODY FAT then yes, but it doesn't always come from fat. People think that because you're in a caloric deficit you're gonna burn fat, but in the presence of insulin the body will burn stored glycogen because it cannot burn fat. So say you eat three meals a day and all…

You sound like a fun girl... haha!!

Keep in mind people, time is not a biological concept in the linear sense. It's man made. it's not like your body knows what 10pm is. That is why when you hear people say "Don't eat after 7pm." I always ask, how does my body know what 7pm is? It's a made up concept, like the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, Bigfoot, and religion.
-
Yeah, you can remain in a calorie deficit on a weekly basis instead of each day. Little less tedious too.
