Who's completed day 1 and day 2??? Man, was I a hot sweaty mess after today's POP HIITS. I could definitely feel everything from yesterday in my core - WONDERFUL!
-
Yes! I just did the whole first day and loved it (in a love/hate type of way). I did most of her beginner's calendar last month with some added videos in here and there. I'm hoping to be able to stick with this one and do the whole month. Although, doing workouts on a mat when it's so flipping hot has it difficulties - I…

I really need to focus on my core this month, so I'm totally game for this! I'd love to be able to do diamond by the end of the month, but I'll settle for gold if need be. :-p

Screw that! It's Pi Day! I'd much rather have pie!!!!

Don't compare yourself with others! No matter how "slow" you are going, you're still lapping everyone on the couch! When I started C25K, I had a hard time too. When I'd look ahead, it'd scare the crap out of me. But I just kept going. It's good that you're pushing yourself. And remember, it's ok if you redo a week because…

Today, I've logged in for 375 consecutive days! I've lost over 60lbs. Simply watching calorie intake and exercise have made a huge difference in my life!

I started as an outdoor runner and tried running on a treadmill over christmas and man, was that hard! i like to run outside because i can set my own pace and i realize my pace naturally varies as i run. i have a hard time running at a constant speed. i've also found that road running and track running are different too!…

that's great! hmmm....where do i want to walk to???.....

Have you tried Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred? I've lost some inches and toned a bit by doing that. She incorporates weights with cardio. Congrats on your progress so far. I know what it's like being a shorty with lots of baggage (5'2", started at 200). Feel free to add me if you want. Keep up the great work!
-
oh my god, you're AMAZING! congratulations! You are such an inspirations. If anyone had any "excuses" you did, but you didn't let them stop you! FANTASTIC!!!!!
-
Ah, cool! In general, that's what me and my husband have been doing. Congrats on your lose and keep up the good work!
-
Congrats! What is ELLM?

I haven't done any other Jillian besides 30DS (currently on level 2 day 7), but you can check out some of her other workouts on youtube for free. i watched level 1 of 6w6p yesterday and it looks like it'll definitely work those abs. I recommend at least checking them out on youtube before you commit to buying a dvd.

I've lost 50lbs so far w/ MFP. I started 290 days ago (so mid/end of Feb 2012). At first I had set my calorie goals to just lose 0.5lbs/wk so i could get used to counting calories and pretty much not GAIN any more weight. I didn't get "serious" and set it to 1lb/wk until mid April. I didn't start really exercising (beyond…

I second checking out what's at the library. Also, check out YouTube. There are tons of workouts on there. There's a great workout channel, BeFit http://www.youtube.com/user/BeFit?feature=fvstc that has tons of videos. This is where I get my 30DS videos.

Don't be put off by online dating. My husband and I met on Match.com almost 4yrs ago and have been together ever since. I also have a friend who met her husband on eHarmony about 7 yrs ago.

that is just downright INCREDIBLE!!! Way to go! you're an inspiration and i'm proud of you
-
yup, couch to 5k is totally the way to go! have a blast at the color run!!!
-
Congrats! I too was very excited the day I got on the scale and it finally read a number that was in my "overweight" range, no longer "obese". Keep it up, "normal" is just around the corner!

I got the RunDouble app for my phone. The first 2 weeks were free then I paid like $1 for the rest of the program. I liked it. I wouldn't pay anything more than $2 tops for an app. I say try a free one, and if you don't like it, try a different one. There are a TON of different apps out there.

i made breadsticks out of cauliflower (same or similar recipe to the pizza crust) and my 10 month old went crazy over it. it's a great way to sneak veggies into your kids' diet w/o them even thinking twice!
-
Great job! I'm 5'2" as well and started out in March at 200lbs. Through just following MFPs calorie recommendations and starting to run (C25K is a great program) I've lost over 40lbs and went from a tight size 20 down to a 14/16. Keep up the great work! It's great to see other "shorties" kicking those lbs to the curb!

Remember, you didn't put this on in a day, it'll take more than a day to take it off. Slow and steady wins the race. If you are looking for friendly support, feel free to add me!

i love skinny taste! so many great recipes!
-
wow, great job! you're doing fantastic, and i know your family loves you even more for it.
-
Congrats! I did my first last week and have signed up to do a 5k turkey trot on Thanksgiving.
-
Good for you!!! You'll do great and I bet you'll even surprise yourself. Remember, no matter how slow you go, you're still lapping everyone on the couch! My turkey trot is on Thanksgiving morning.

In general, I try not to. If I've worked out and have extra calories, I may eat some of them, but in general, I try not to eat over 100 calories over my allotment. I do have my days where I end up eating them all or even going over, but those are few and far between.
-
I've lost a 5 gallon jug of water and a dozen krispy kreme donuts!
-
Holy crap!!!! You are AMAZING!!!! Way to go!!!!!!
